I’m still waiting to moan about Sayfutdinov winning and not betting on him but he continues to look like the winner in the heats but blows up in the later pressure heats. He got an undeserved second chance here and still blew it 🛵

He got an undeserved second chance here and still blew it 🛵 Emil is a mystery. Looked so quick during his early GP days, appeared a certain future champ. Several serious injuries and club payment issues knocked him back. Also read a few accusations / rumours regarding those early GP’s. I backed Emil and Freddie for this series. Looks like it’s Tai’s for the taking - he’s on another level this season. On the betting front. Decided to put my £1 on England win 1-0, Maguire to score. Forget to place the bet - was soooooo pleased when Ali nodded in.

Sayfutdinov isn’t the same animal now to what he was 5 or 6 years ago, more mature now, family, wife, kids all take their toll, I also think he was badly advised when he pulled out of the GP,s for a few years.

Added to that the early days of chasing back wheels and big high speed crashes that focus the mind on the reality of the consequences.
