We know Bratters is a switched on guy!! We know Panthers interests is his main concern!!! My problem is and suggest same for many others just do not see where he is going. That is of course always the problem when an inner sanctum evolves !!! He has said "ask question and I will answer" problem is we no longer know what question to ask.
It's hard to know how to answer Rodders because you always bang this drum. You are never going to get it all. There often appears to be deflection, untruths or it may just be things that are too sensitive for the public domain. That's life in most things. Speedway has suffered in the internet era because there is nowhere to hide, they are poor communicators and struggle with their social media customer base who are often more switched on than they would like, although often they are not but they are like a dog with a bone and will not leave it which just causes arguments with supporters which is a bad look.
I think I know where he's going. I said to him last year that my interest was 2024 and I wasn't too interested past that but am still clinging on at the moment to see what happens.
The "inner sanctum" objective is, we are told, to get back at the EoES in 2025, but do they really believe that? I don't think so but that has to be their focus for the upcoming issues of 2024. They have to focus on plan a and not give any indication of a plan b even if they have one.
Bratters has IMO virtually given up on the EoES as it is although he will continue to try to get PCC/AEPG to stick to the local plan. Who knows what may or may not happen in 2024?
So basically, IMO where he is going is firstly holding on to the very very very slim hope that we can return to the EoES as it is in 2025, secondly that we get that like for like replacement on site (although what that would look like and timescale is anyone's guess?), and finally we get the like for like off site which would be years off, and at what level and/or standard?
It's not good whichever way that you cut it, and as you've often pointed out, we always seem to be playing catch up with AEPG.
