surely the plastic brit ain't gonna a wild card he'll be worse than harris Doesn't bear thinking about does it? Would have the odd good ride but generally embarrassing. Unfortunately we haven't got anyone worthy af a place (Harris is our best which tells you all you need to know?) - could, and perhaps should, be a no Brit GP

My bet is Hampel Ward Vaculik and Woffinden. They will put the token brit in but will change it from Harris.

I'l go with that too but I don't think Wuffy will be in because he is British, more to do with what he may bring to the circus. The GP's don't need a Brit if there isn't one good enough, Cardiff will still survive without one.

The GP's don't need a Brit if there isn't one good enough, Cardiff will still survive without one. There would be a Brit at Cardiff anyway due to wildcard system and if you can't win the British title on your own circuit to get you there then that could suggest that you're not good enough? However, having just checked the 2012 averages he may we get a pick on merit so that's fair enough. I'm not sure that he'll be anywhere near quick enough on the big GP circuits? Only 2 wins from his last 9 rides at the fast EoES for example, but time will tell On reflection, Bezza's 4 seem a decent shout.

Very sad situation with no Brits in the GP. They just seem to lack the professionalism and absolute dedication that many of the foreign boys portray.

The FIM Speedway Grand Prix series returns to the legendary Polonia Stadium in Bydgoszcz on April 20, 2013 after rights holders BSI Speedway agreed a one-year deal with the city.
The event, titled the 2013 European FIM Speedway Grand Prix, takes the place of the round staged in Leszno. Bydgoszcz last hosted an SGP event on October 9, 2010 – the night hometown hero Tomasz Gollob finally got his hands on the World Championship in front of a sell-out crowd. This will be first European-based round of the 2013 season and the 15th Grand Prix staged at the ZKS Polonia Stadium. Incredibly, seven of the 14 held in Bydgoszcz have been won by Gollob. The track hosted the epic FIM Monster Energy Speedway World Cup Event One in July, when just two points separated meeting winners Russia, runners-up Poland and third-placed Denmark. BSI Speedway managing director Paul Bellamy is confident Bydgoszcz can live up to its glorious reputation once again. He said: “It’s a great pleasure to be able to bring the FIM Speedway Grand Prix series back to one of its most fabled venues. “Bydgoszcz has always produced superb racing and the World Cup meeting there in the summer will go down as one of the competition’s all-time classics. “Tomasz Gollob’s record at this stadium is extraordinary and he will take some stopping there. But I’m sure a strong 2013 SGP field will be up for the challenge.” Communication IMG Worldwide - www.imgworld.com -

Is there a New Zealand round in 2013? Yes. Pearson did say during the Torun GP that the 2013 series will open once again in NZ.
