Graham Drury, co-promoter of Chris Harris' British club Birmingham, has slammed what he describes as ‘mischief making’ rumours regarding Chris Harris and Cardiff. Harris will appear at next Saturday’s Fogo British FIM Speedway Grand Prix at the Millennium as planned despite speculation that he may stand down. Said Drury: “I have no idea where these rumours come from, but I’ve had emails and calls from people asking if it’s true that Bomber has pulled out of Cardiff. “I want to stamp on these rumours straight away. He will be there, flying the flag for British Speedway and representing Birmingham Speedway. “The rumours are completely without foundation and I can only put it down to mischief making. Hopefully this will put those rumours to bed and I can assure everyone that Chris Harris will go to Cardiff to give it his all.”

Would you pay £58 to not have an uninterrupted view CAT 5 RESTRICTED VIEW £58Why would anyone pay for a restricted view at Cardiff? Even the cheap seats are a great view from every area - unless you have the crazy poles with flags in front of you. It's also easy enough to move seats, plenty spare.

At least we will not have Huewen banging on about how it gets bigger and better every year when in fact it's been virtually static since it was introduced. It's too expensive when everyone feels flush, which certainly isn't 2013.

Rumours of a Gelcenkirchen type cock up are beginning to surface, with practice being cancelled and a new track being shipped in and laid overnight. Just what the sport needs huh.

Can decide on this one. Hearing the track condition was a wind up, more like a cover up.
Don't know why as never backed him before but I'm going for a value bet on Lindgren.

Betting on the winner is silly, Anything can happen in the Semi/Final as Emil hitting the tapes in the last GP proved.. Rider points and rider match-up's is where the clever people bet. Gollob over 7 points.. £20 returns £34.54 (Safe bet) Lindgren under 9 points.. £10 returns £17.27 (Another safe bet) Sayfudtinov to outscore Lindgren... £25 returns £35.00 (Safe bet) and just 1 outside bet with Greg winning.. £5 at 25/1 possible return of £130.00 People going for outside bets are fools, Your not going to win nothing unlike me, Watch and learn now to make money off the bookies. Betting is silly full stop and is only entertainment. Don't bet more than you can afford to lose, which you will over time. The only shops opening these days are betting shops, think there's a clue in there somewhere? "the only way to win is to own the bookie rather than be a punter."

Well the only decent thing about this was seeing Sophie back on the Tele different gravy compared to that Charlie bird I thought that it was generally poor, certainly be forgotten quickly apart from Woffinden title ending injury. It's worth going though not to have to listen to the Welsh national anthem. And what tedious rider introductions, surely against H&S to put the lights out? As for Cardiff being the "big one", it probably is in terms of crowd numbers but in the bigger picture it's just one of 12 and not even at the business end of the competition. Eurosport did a reasonable job but couldn't work out the bloke with Nicholls, people who smile a lot worry me
