Didn't even know this was on - on the ball and interested, not!
Panthers asset Krzysztof Buczkowski, who was overlooked by the city club for the 2013 season, takes the wildcard for the European SGP being staged on his home track of Bydgoszcz in Poland (from P'boro today) The ZKS Polonia Stadium in Bydgoszcz hosts its 15th FIM Speedway Grand Prix event in 2013. Bydgoszcz has hosted the Polish FIM Grand Prix 12 times (1998, 1999, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2006, 2008, 2009 and 2010) and the European FIM Grand Prix once (2000). The other Grand Prix it hosted was the "Final" Grand Prix of 2008 making it the only venue to have hosted two FIM Speedway Grand Prix rounds in one season. Of the 14 previous Grand Prixs held at Bydgoszcz, Tomasz Gollob has won seven times (1998, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2007 and 2008 (final).

Bookies appear to have this one right. Can't see beyond Gollum, KK best value EW bet.

Thought you might have Was impressed with Woffinden. Good speed and trackcraft apart from the final - gating needs work though although he's not quite as bad as Harris.

Thought you might have just about got my money back what i put on emil last time and panthers to win the league ;D Only one winner in the end and that's the bookies. We all get the odd victory but would soon give up betting if we kept accounts If you got Panthers at 10/1 then that's looking like a terrible price.

Really enjoyed this one mainly because we're already in a speedway famine with season looking over for Panthers!
Also, as Tatum said, this was "proper speedway" with probably the best GP field we've seen. Could have done without that bloke giving us a rundown of the heats we'd seen, work to do on his presentation and facts as Millard used to say!
Interesting to hear that after a slick track in practice there were heated discussions about getting some grip into the track for the meeting itself. Let's hope that that's the norm from now on!
Standings after two rounds of 12:
1 Tomasz Gollob 31 2 Darcy Ward 25 3 Jaroslaw Hampel 23 4 Tai Woffinden 23 5 Nicki Pedersen 22 6 Emil Sayfutdinov 21 7 Chris Holder 19 8 Greg Hancock 19
9 Matej Zagar 19 10 Niels-Kristian Iversen 16 11 Andreas Jonsson 15 12 Fredrik Lindgren 12 13 Antonio Lindback 9 14 Martin Vaculik 9 15 Krzysztof Kasprzak 6

Agree, great speedway meeting. Why o why can't they get the track conditions perfect for every GP? They've had enough practice now to know what makes great racing, which consists of dirt and more than 1 racing line. This is the only way to encourage people to watch - the Prague boreathon awaits us.

We can only hope that Eurosport took note of comments made before agreeing the SGP deal and that part of that agreement involved a racing track being provided for all meetings

Terenzano isn't any better, it will be interesting to see if attempts are made to change the normal super slick surfaces of these two.
