Is it wrong of me to be supporting the Danes? I just don't feel any emotional attachment towards Team GB as the riders in the side are not Panthers.
Club over country for me

Doesn't really matter what it's doing at 8.30 in the morning - what's the forecast

SpeedwayGP @speedwaygp#CONGRATULATIONS: Poland have won the #MonsterEnergySWC #Event1! I gave it 2 races. Guff crowd and guff teams. When will they stop telling us this is great? It's crap! Ok so the final might be worth watching, along with the race off and British round for local interest but an annual mustn't miss it isn't

Honestly, I'm only watching tomorrow's event because of MJJ and Bjerre
Possibly Thursday if Dakota North gets a go.

Most interesting bit for me was Webster getting Bjerre to take his helmet off for interview. Unfortunately Idiot Abroad started at 10pm so had to miss the last two heats so no idea how it finished

Unfortunately Idiot Abroad started at 10pm so had to miss the last two heats so no idea how it finished The track wasn't good to start with and I didn't think the racing was very good either as it was a gaters paradise. Kennett was complete rubbish, shame Middleditch was the only one who didn't think so, but Woffinden and Harris rode well. Not sure we can beat Australia in the race off unless we get a scoring rider in Kennetts place and that's of course assuming we can beat Latvia. I think team USA were impressive tonight, loads of team managers, officials, coaches, mechanics, cheer leaders, just a shame they only have 1 rider.

This whole competition is a load of old cack, I'm pleased to say I haven't watched a single heat.

This whole competition is a load of old cack, I'm pleased to say I haven't watched a single heat. The qualifiers and race-off are the problem: the final should be ok because all of the riders will be of decent quality but we need 3 poor meetings to get us to where we could predict anyway!

LEWIS CALLED UP BY TEAM GB FOR THE SWC - 15th JulyFollowing tonight’s Speedway World Cup meeting at Kings Lynn, I am very proud to announce that I have been called up into the GB Team for the Race Off meeting in Prague this Thursday. I would like to thank Neil Middleditch and Phil Morris for giving me this opportunity to represent my country, I intend to grasp the chance with both hands and I am determined to show the world what I can do, I will not let anyone down. I have been pleased with the way I have been riding recently, I have a new level of confidence and I am really loving my racing. I am lucky to have a great set of sponsors, a good team around me and wonderful support from the fans. I would like to thank the promoters, staff, team mates and supporters at both the Vortex Lakeside Hammers and ZKS ROW Rybnik, for all of their help and support. I would not be where I am without you guys, thank you! I am really looking forward to the meeting on Thursday. It will be very tough against Australia, Latvia and the USA but I am determined to play my part in getting Team GB to the Speedway World Cup Final on Saturday. This whole competition is a load of old cack, I'm pleased to say I haven't watched a single heat. Liked the new system where team managers picked riders for the last four heats and then the swedes put a TS in one of them. What a complete waste of time. 16 heats, 4 Riders plus 1 reserve each team, just too simple isn't it.

Should be every four years minimum, trouble is BSI are too greedy.

It's nothing different unlike the football world cup when the world really does come together and you get something really different.

No reserve is ridiculous, lose a rider through no fault of your own and its game over. The joker is classic 'it's a knockout' and allowing TS devalues the 4TT format. I'd vote for every 2 years.

Today British Speedway achieved a new low. Each and every member of the team riders and management should be thoroughly ashamed.

Today British Speedway achieved a new low. Each and every member of the team riders and management should be thoroughly ashamed. Next stop finishing 3rd at the British round or actually losing a British round because we're so crap "Australia have won the Monster Energy FIM Speedway World Cup Race Off from Prague in the Czech Republic. USA were second ahead of Latvia in third. Great Britain finished the event in fourth."I never watched it. I didn't think we'd be that bad but don't know why. I wouldn't cross the Road to watch Bridger and Barker. Harris has had his day and Woffinden must have had a bit of a mare

1. Tai Woffinden - 3, 3, 0, 4^, 2, 2 = 14
Woffinden did well apart from he race he got shoved out in the first bend, Just lost to Hancock twice and Ward in the last ride.
This is where we lost.
4. Ben Barker - 0, 1, 1, 0, 1 = 3 2. Lewis Bridger - 2, 0, 2, FX = 4
