Betting is throwing money away anyway, the secret is not to bet what you can't afford to lose or chase money you've lost. So that was £17 clear profit on an £8 emotional bet yesterday and £8 clear profit today on a £5.60 percentage bet of a 9 horse Union Jack Patent with only 4 winners & 5 losers - there is no science, anything's worth a try Surely it's about picking a winner. Not backing everything incorporating your dogs name - but each to their own 🐶💲💲💲 A popular misconception. I know someone who backs any Jacks as it's his son's name. A £5 e/w on 3rd Jack Dexter (G Lee, 8/1) in the big race at Ayr yesterday would have returned a £5 profit - it's about not losing money I don't back any George. I look to see if any are running and know which are in with a shout. Same with The Arc, if I do one it'll be Treve but I'll have a good look beforehand!

Come on Jarek. Why? Because he's a grown up.

Why? Because he's a grown up. Oh dear! JH 31 v TW 23, obviously more mature. So you are cheering for a Pole rather than a British youngster born in Scunthorpe.

With all the euphoria regarding Tai , we seem to have forgotten Gollob. Any one know how he is? Monday 23rd September 2013, SGP Polish icon Tomasz Gollob’s season is over after he fractured his C7 vertebrae in a crash at the Rockklassiker Scandinavian SGP in Stockholm on Saturday. The 42-year-old was thrown over the high side of the motorbike after an awkward tangle with Tai Woffinden at the Friends Arena. He was knocked unconscious in the spill, but woke up on track before being taken to hospital in Stockholm, where he will remain for a few more days. He has not undergone surgery, but is wearing a neck brace to support the damaged vertebrae. When he is deemed fit to travel, he will return to the Bydgoszcz Military Hospital in Poland for further treatment and assessment. Gollob is yet to officially withdraw from the Torun SGP of Poland at his Polish Ekstraliga home track on October 5. But his manager Thomas Gaszynski has confirmed he will not take to the track again in 2013.

Which at such a young age will have an influence on your accent. He also had the choice to join Oz nationality but decided to follow Dad's GB roots. A much needed positive boost for UK Speedway yet you still persist your half empty glass.
