Typical Speedway is it not? Doubt the truth will be known till the day when all inside Stadium and paid their money. Word on BSF is that both Holders already flown out to Poland. Well he's either riding or it needs clarifying on Saturday. I was never going anyway so it doesn't affect me but those who are going should be told if there is something in this. As for flying out, ototorun.pl says "3 hours ago Jack Holder uploaded a photo on Instagram from Heathrow Airport (4/8/17)" And: "Two days ago Jacek Frątczak gave an advised composition for the league match with Częstochowa Wooler. Jack Holder was not listed. Get Well at Torun's fan club, Torun immediately shook. The fans were asking - where is Jack? The manager of the team in conversation with Oto Torun explained that for now Jack has some contracts and can not say about his performance in the Sunday game.""Today (4/8) we know that Jack Holder most likely (we estimate it at 90-95%) will play in the match with Czestochowa Wooler. Our unofficial information shows that the club has hired an Australian for three meetings. Of course, the deal is also due on August 6, when Get Well faces Motoarena with Fool. And with the resident looney on the BSF posting: "Holder will only be able to ride in Poland if he isn't picked in the four to ride for the Panthers - Harris, Starke, Ulrich and Wilson-Dean would still be a competitive side." There may or may not be some questions to answer

Hope it's not true but rumours are gathering. No Holder would be a serious game changer (who would be a promoter). Also now looks like no Masters for Edinburgh, reading bad shoulder injury tonight. Broken collarbone according to his Tweet last night 😢

Haven't bothered with the 4's myself for last couple of years - had intended to attend this weekend but will follow what's occurring online today and in the morning re Holder - think I'll more than likely give it a miss again now.

I agree with what you both say but the post on the BSF seems very convincing - have either of you read it? thats come from sportowe fakty wouldn't take a lot of notice of the propaganda on there, the translation is usually pretty poor as well , it's more a case of people adding 2+2 and coming up with 10 I would guess

Early reports seem to agree with that (although still slightly confused) and that there is nothing to see here so move along please - time will tell, I'm bored with it now so will look again this evening! Given that this was Monday though and there seems to have been some injuries etc this week, it'd be good to see an update of this today, to appease Rodders at the very least GROUP APETERBOROUGH: Jack Holder, Chris Harris, Paul Starke, Ulrich Ostergaard (reserve: Bradley Wilson-Dean).EDINBURGH: Sam Masters, Erik Riss, Ricky Wells, Theo Pijper (reserve: Josh Pickering). SHEFFIELD: Josh Grajczonek, Josh Bates, Kyle Howarth, Lasse Bjerre (reserve: Todd Kurtz). WORKINGTON: Craig Cook, Ty Proctor, Thomas Jorgensen, Mason Campton (reserve: Matt Williamson). SCUNTHORPE: Michael Palm Toft, Lewis Kerr, Ryan Douglas, Josh Auty. GROUP BGLASGOW: Richard Lawson, Aaron Summers, Ricky Worrall, Nike Lunna (reserve: Dan Bewley). NEWCASTLE: Robert Lambert, Steve Worrall, Stuart Robson, Ludvig Lindgren (reserve: Ashley Morris). IPSWICH: Danny King, Rory Schlein, Cameron Heeps, Kyle Newman (reserve: Justin Sedgmen). Yes, I have tried to get some more info this morning but unable to get any news that sounds promising. Riders falling like flies as well Masters reported to have broken his collarbone last night and Lambert isn't riding in the Fours as he is battered and bruised from a series of falls, Bjerre must be doubtful for Sheffield and with Newman and Morris already out its starting to look well affected.

Apparently not - he has his blessing! As fans we need to see the bigger picture I am told - well I have and am having a nice lunch out tomorrow now with my other half instead of sandwiches in a dusty grandstand!

Well he's either riding or it needs clarifying on Saturday. I was never going anyway so it doesn't affect me but those who are going should be told if there is something in this. And there it is: PETERBOROUGH STATEMENT: JACK HOLDERPETERBOROUGH number one Jack Holder will miss the Fours tomorrow - with the blessing of club bosses. The Australian had been due to lead Panthers 4 in their challenge for honours at the East of England Showground, but he has instead been given permission to race for Torun in Poland. Holder was initially allowed to race for the Polish side last Sunday when making a paid 16-point debut in a defeat at Leszno. Torun have turned to the 21 year-old to replace world champion Greg Hancock, who faces shoulder surgery. Peterborough bosses have since been involved in discussions with their Torun counterparts for several days with a decision which benefits all parties eventually being made late last night.
Promoter Ged Rathbone said: "We have agreed with Torun that Jack can race for them tomorrow. "We have to accept that we are simply a stepping stone in the career of a brilliant young rider. "Jack has been a model professional from our very first phone call to him during the winter. He loves racing for Peterborough and he has already indicated that he wants to be back with us again next year."We feel as a club that after last night's result in which Sheffield won at Edinburgh, we will not now make the play-offs this season. Granted, it's still mathematically possible, but we feel it is a slim chance at most. "Ourselves, Torun and Jack have come to an agreement that suits us all. Torun did initially ask us to release Jack for the rest of 2017, but the rider himself refused that. "Depending on Torun's results, we will continue to assess the situation going forward. We may be prepared to allow him to race for them on two further Sundays when we ride at Newcastle and Scunthorpe. "I fully understand that some of our supporters may be disappointed that we are without Jack tomorrow in the Fours, but I ask them all to understand that the deal we've done is beneficial to all parties." I'm not going to expand on that, but I urge them to trust my judgement as they've always done since I stepped in to keep speedway going in Peterborough in late 2014." Bradley Wilson-Dean will now step into the Peterborough team for the Fours along with Chris Harris, Paul Starke and captain Ulrich Ostergaard. Simon Lambert now acts as their reserve. source and full text peterboroughpanthers.co/news

Bradley Wilson-Dean has been forced to pull out of the 4TT. Wilson-Dean suffered damage to a hand - the same one he fractured earlier in the season - when crashing out of his final ride in Swindon's success at Rye House last night. He will be replaced by Simon Lambert in the Peterborough side. Lambert joins Chris Harris, Paul Starke and Ulrich Ostergaard.
Panthers are now without a reserve as Tom Bacon was hurt in a National League fixture for Birmingham last night.
Peterborough feature in the Group A along with Edinburgh, Sheffield, Workington and Scunthorpe.
Group B is made up of Glasgow, Ipswich, Redcar, Newcastle and Berwick.
The leading two teams from each group advance to the final.

Simon Lambert now acts as their reserve. source and full text peterboroughpanthers.co/news BRITISH Speedway's top brass have slammed Peterborough's decision to release young sensation Jack Holder from the showpiece Fours Championship. The prestigious meeting, which is part of Speedway Great Britain's major events series, takes place at the East of England Arena and Events Centre today (April 6) at 2pm - and features every Championship club. Holder, however, will ride in Poland for Torun after Panthers agreed to release him - a move which the British Speedway Promoters' Association Management Committee refused to sanction. Chairman Keith Chapman said: "The absence of Jack Holder from one of the biggest meetings in the domestic calendar is nothing to do with the British Speedway Promoters' Association Management Committee. "We are appalled by Peterborough in allowing this situation to arise. I have been desperately trying to protect British Speedway with dates and contracted fixtures for riders and when a club ignores that we might as well all give up. Contractually and by agreement the rider should be at Peterborough, not in Poland. "If the rider had gone to Poland and raced without the permission of his club he would have been banned for withholding his services for 28 days - this is not the case with Jack Holder as his club have given him their blessing and we have evidence of the true reason. They have sold British Speedway down the river. "It is not to our satisfaction and we will now put in place the relevant sanctions to apply to the Peterborough Speedway promotion. "I am passionate about defending British Speedway. This is a major blow to the sport in the UK and the blame is very firmly at the door of Peterborough Speedway." speedwaygb.co/newS 6/8/17

The riders we're apparently on about £200 for the meeting and their were several moans that it wouldn't even cover their expenses and mechanics. Best story I heard was Buster Chapman turned up at the main gate late and was refused entry because he didn't have his BSPA pass with him and had to telephone someone in the pits to gain entry.

Harris was incredible yesterday.
He's the sort of rider who performs well under pressure and in big meetings.
If we had Kenneth in yesterday's meeting, he would have been squeezed out at the first turn and that would have been the end of it.

The 4's used to be a great afternoon with good natured vocal rivalry. Now, my first thought is 32 heats, $hit that's going to be a long tedious afternoon / evening. The waiting really does pi$$ me off. As a result of rider / fan pressure we now have all teams competing. Seriously hope we don't have the usual late notice sick notes. After listening to an interview Jack Holder gave - post Torun meeting at the weekend when he said he would like to race there again this weekend if asked I am not confident we will have our Number 1 lining up for us! 😢😢 Just seen that for the first time, what a shocker!
