This makes me want to throw up. I would literally pass out: I’ve been up the Burj Khalifa a few times and I hate heights. The public don’t go near the top, just to the glass floor, inside and out. On one flight back I watched a documentary of the building of the BK, now that was seriously scary. I am far worse with claustrophobia, absolutely hate lifts - this was worse than being up high, although it was a very fast ride. Enclosed spaces kill me. I won’t even travel in the back of a 2 door car 😱

This makes me want to throw up. I would literally pass out: You and me both, no head for heights at all.

I suppose that's part of the thrill for the nutters? Each to their own!

I suppose that's part of the thrill for the nutters? Each to their own! Potholing 😱 not a chance. I once got stuck in a toilet cubicle in Spain when the lock broke. Even though I was out in less than 5 minutes my claustrophobia was in overload. Think this is the documentary I mentioned about building Khalifa. It’s an hour but absolutely amazing what these guys can do - and bloody scary.

It is absolutely incredible how they build them. It’s one thing building up but building across, where do you start

As Andy Jacobs would say “what’s the point”? Andy Jacobs, what's the point would be my take on it Me too. I can only see these adrenaline junkies as freaky people. A bit like that outrageous Isle of Man motor bike race. It’s horrendous and people die every year. Correct me if I’m wrong but surely it would be banned in any other sport. As I say each to their own. I just can’t understand their logic, riding +200mph in 30mph routes. Speedway is a dangerous sport but not on this level.

I like my bikes but find road racing at high speed with kerbs and walls close by just too mental. I was looking for an IoM TT video to post but they are just too scary and many relate to or include a fatal crash - no thanks! Will go with this instead, I feel quite sick

Massimo@Rainmaker1973 22/7/23This dangerous job in which power line engineers must climb 70 meter high transmission towers to perform safety checks on the high voltage transmission lines. And often they have to work in adverse weather conditions. I feel sick, as per normal
