Just look at what we watched last night. That’s not going to entice anyone. Only way to survive is super tracks (prepared properly), Proper Speedway. There are reasons so many small tracks have died. It’s not difficult to work out. Eurosport TV coverage of both league and GP is lamentable. I just lose the will to live watching the dross being served up. It make you realise how good Sky were. In the current climate it is difficult to see anybody committing meaningful investment into this sport. It’s certainly difficult to take them serious when they continue to stick with Ermolenko

Some on BSF claiming to be in the know are adamant Panthers running next season at Showground. I have seen no official confirmation Someone thinks they know (or they read the programme) and Flappy read something from a sponsor. Not the strongest of sources. Johnson wrote that he thought that we'll be at the EoES in 2023 but nothing allegedly agreed in writing with AEPG? Then the known spiel about a couple of sites for Panthers 2024. 2023 sounds probable depending on what the proposed speedway league/team format is for next season. Beyond that I'd have serious doubts. Who is going to fund/undertake such a project with the sport in its current state and in the current financial climate? Unless they have their eye on an established location/stadium then you can't see anything more than a grass roots NL effort at best. To start from scratch & have something ready worthy of a top league team isn't going to happen IMO?

Assuming tomorrows match still on (and the Quiz the following night). Hopefully we will get some news however scant, as this could be the last ever meeting at EOES and end of Panthers.

Assuming tomorrows match still on (and the Quiz the following night). Hopefully we will get some news however scant, as this could be the last ever meeting at EOES and end of Panthers. PETERBOROUGH will make an announcement over the future of the club at Thursday’s final home meeting of the season against Belle Vue (7.30pm).
News was released in June regarding the acceleration of proposed redevelopment plans at the East of England Showground site, with supporters anxious to know what this means for the Panthers. (club website)
Wouldn't expect anything more than this with confirmation that agreement has been reached/signed regarding 2023: Johnson wrote that he thought that we'll be at the EoES in 2023 but nothing allegedly agreed in writing with AEPG? Then the known spiel about a couple of sites for Panthers 2024. 2023 sounds probable depending on what the proposed speedway league/team format is for next season. Confirmation from Buster tonight that we will run next season at Showground. Looking for new site in the long terms but feels there may be life at showground for some time yet.
