It was on the first floor of the Town Hall. As you go up the stairs and turn back towards yourself there is/was a concert room looking over Bridge Street on the left hand side. The blocked toilets were on the opposite side - rear of the Town Hall - and when they opened up Monday morning, water was flowing down those lovely white marble stairs like a waterfall. Oh yeah, Queen were rubbish, but I think I may have already mentioned that. Artist Queen Date 22.12.1973 Venue Town Hall City Peterborough Country UK Support band none The venue was not that big ... with seating places... theater stage type. Line-up Freddie Mercury (lead vocals, piano, tambourine), Brian May (electric guitar, backing vocals), Roger Taylor (drums, backing vocals), John Deacon (bass guitar) As you don't understand the question I'm not sure that you're sane enough to judge Freddie and the boys who seem to have done ok without your critical acclaim I think our feline friend means Fleetwood Mac at Cowbit but I owe you an apology if not Mr champs. That was told to me by Panthers musical historian Mr C and I'll get more detail if there is any next time I see him Yes I did mean Fleetwood Mac at Cowbit - I lived near Spalding for many years so thought I should have remembered that.

Fleetwood Mac did appear at Cowbit but they weren't famous then. Was that in a farm building? Can't think of anywhere large enough - surely not the village hall

Well I would have never taken you for an arty farty type Well atm I'm watching La Damnation De Faust on Sky Arts 2 which I think is opera because it's in a unknown dialect (much like an overheard conversation whilst dog walking in Central Park) and I have to say that it's the biggest pile of cack that you could wish to see, apart from a speedway meeting at Arena Essex that is
