Danish sensation Michael Jepsen Jensen makes his World Championship debut as the wild card for the FIM Dansk Metal Danish Speedway Grand Prix in Copenhagen’s PARKEN Stadium on June 9.
The 20-year-old dons the No.16 race jacket after enjoying an impressive start to 2012 with his league clubs across Europe. He has become a pivotal rider for Peterborough in the UK, Gorzow in Poland, Swedish side Dackarna and Grindsted in his homeland.
Jepsen Jensen also finished third to SGP regular Nicki Pedersen and Niels-Kristian Iversen in round one of the Danish Final at Holsted on May 16, scoring 11 points and heading three of the nation’s SGP stars. MJJ served as one of the track reserves at last year’s event in Copenhagen, but did not take to the shale.
This season’s reserves will be Peter Kildemand and Mikkel B Jensen. They will be called into action if one of the main 16 riders is excluded for a starting offence or is forced to abstain from a race due to injury, illness or other reasons.
Kildemand has also hit form all over Europe this year, while Jensen is back at PARKEN after serving as the wild card in last season’s Danish SGP.
The referee for the meeting is Wojciech Grodzki from Poland.

Think that the betting mirrors reality as the top 8 in the betting will probably be the top 8 in the end of the series as a whole!

Sky producer shouts in Pearson's ear, plug the SWC and suggest that he's a chance of making the squad!

He needs to calm his ass down before someone really gets hurt.
