The form of Barker, Auty and King must be positive for this year's (yup it's yet another one )speedway world cup I bet the Poles, Swedes, Danes and Aussies are bricking it at the prospect ;D

Brits who can gate never develop the consistent speed and those who might have the speed can't gate. It's the British conundrum and now that we've become a speedway backwater, the likes of Collins, Screen, Morton, Lee, Carter etc chasing down and passing the rest of the world with ease are long gone Pink kevlars, don't think that we want a rider these days who'll compete with the crew girls, even if he can gate Mick Hines was always tidy out of the start I seem to recall

Never seen anyone gate like the Pink Panther, lightening out the traps then hold on for dear life. Didn't he end up in Oz?

Mick Poole was always pretty good and Ryan Sullivan wasnt bad either. Ive always found it strange that some cant learn how to gate? Sully was a crap gater when he first come to EOES but he soon learnt and was lightning after.
