I have just seen a report that AFC Wimbledon are planning to return to Merton and develop a ground at the Wimbledon Greyhound Stadium at Plough Lane. Whether this means that they hope to purchase the stadium from its current owners is no clear , but could this mean there is a possibility of Speedway returning?

Home of the Greyhound Derby, went many times, saw Signal Spark, Hit the Lid and Slippy Blue all win in the late 80's early 90's, it was a decent place, last time I was there was mid 90's. I don't think they've looked after it in recent years, firmly believe there is another agenda. Last London track?

Always thought that the white elephant and the car parks would be the last things standing at some point, for a while at least if they don't get their act together

Apologies if you're eating but it has to be said Anyone been in the gents at the EoES recently? Always been proud of the EoES toilets compared to away track toilets which would even make Karl Pilkington think twice before visiting! We're catching them up at some pace, didn't realise that it was a competition
