Doesn't get any easier as Posh (2nd) take on unbeaten Preston (4th).

Peterborough United v Preston North EndPeterborough United are the team leading the chase to catch Orient at the top and they welcome Preston North End. Posh chalked up their third win on the bounce last time out but face a Preston team who have won their last five and remain unbeaten this term. The match will give Peterborough boss Darren Ferguson a chance to renew acquaintances with the club he managed between January and December of 2010, before being dismissed from Deepdale and re-appointed at London Road in January 2011. A game of 2 halfs. Preston started brightly & could have taken an early lead but the shot was somehow blocked. After that Posh took the game to them, scored 2 and should have put the game to bed. Second half was mostly all Preston who hit the woodwork twice amongst numerous chances. If it had finished 2-2 then nobody could have complained, but 3 points to Posh it is.

If it had finished 2-2 then nobody could have complained Not a hope in hell of that every happening. We can sit back and absorb the pressure now...MK, Rotherham and now Preston have all found that out

Only one goalkeeper working in the second half yesterday and he needed assistance from the woodwork.
