Peterborough United boss Darren Ferguson told BBC Radio Cambridgeshire:
"It's a game we've always seemed to do well in. We've got a great rivalry with Milton Keynes.
"The fans always turn out in abundance and we hope to get a result for them.
"MK seem a lot more resilient this season. I think they've got a belief that they can go all the way.
"But they will be fearful of playing against Peterborough, because we have a good record against them.
"(Boss) Karl Robinson has been there a while now and they are always there or thereabouts without actually getting the promotion. I'm sure he has learned things."

Peterborough United boss Darren Ferguson told BBC Radio Cambridgeshire: "But they will be fearful of playing against Peterborough, because we have a good record against them. Ferguson still hasn't realised what a crap bunch of players he has, or he hasn't got a clue how to produce a winning team from the best squad he's ever had; take your pick! And to confirm that that's just not negative supporter speak: BBC Cambs Sport @bbccambssport (21/2/15) FT. MK Dons 3 Posh 0. Darren Ferguson's side have been completely outclassed by the Dons. Game over by HT. #theposhPosh down to 15th in the table and seriously looking down rather than up! Darragh MacAnthony @dmac102
Just wanted to say to the posh fans there today; your support at 3 down all game was nothing short of phenomenal. It moved me big time -
And apologizing for the performance/result wont do that support justice. Only swift action will! I'll make all of you proud again soon!
The blue glasses brigade are not the problem, it's the diminishing number attending the increasingly inaccessible ABAX.

GROW INTO GOLF @growintogolf
@dmac102 the Posh Away support has always been the opposite to our Home support!
Ed @bluefox1980
@dmac102 your team's performance moved me, I left before half time
Knowlesy @de11boy
@dmac102 something needs to change Mr Chairman! 15th in the league is far from where we should be!

Darragh MacAnthony has released the following statement. (Chairman's Statement: 21.02.15)
It saddens me to say that the club has this evening parted ways with one of the finest managers in our clubs history. After Speaking with Darren, he feels that a new challenge is needed for both himself and the football club.
We have had over 8 incredible years together with tremendous success on and off the field. I will be forever in his debt for the great times, fantastic football and professionalism he has brought to our football club. I also have no doubt that wherever he goes next, it will lead to great success for him and the club he next works for. The club has also this evening parted ways with Gary Breen, Gavin Strachan, Jimmy Walker, Stewart England and Marc Lindsey.
I’m personally very disappointed in our current league position, the performances from our playing squad and the fact that we have dropped way below our own standards that we set out at as a football club. There is plenty of young and experienced talent in this squad and with 14 games left in the season, I have personal expectations that our players will all lift their performance levels to match the incredible passionate performance and display by nearly 2000 Posh fans today when we were 3-0 down at Stadium MK.
It has not been our finest 6 months results wise or performance wise as a football team and my remit is to now go out and find a new football manager and coaching staff that will challenge and inspire these players to greater heights and to start fulfilling their potential individually and collectively. Some fans have questioned my own commitment, interest, investment and passion for this football club recently; so to them I say with full sincerity and honesty, I am hungrier than ever to get this club back into the Championship and beyond and to deliver on the promises I have made to the city of Peterborough.
I won’t stop until we are scoring goals for fun, entertaining our fans, building our fan base and winning promotions once more with a young exciting vibrant squad. I love being Chairman of this football club and losing games like today and Tuesday in the manner we did absolutely destroys me and chips away at me non-stop, so trust me and give me the time to get it right again. A football club is only as strong as its supporters and today demonstrated to me deep to the bone why this short term pain will be worth it long term. I have you the supporters to thank for that feeling and the optimism I feel going forward.
Dave Robertson will be in charge until such time as I appoint a new first team manager and coaching staff, so let’s give him the support he deserves for the upcoming home game against Bradford.
Thank you for your support
D
