Well that was a reality check and a wake-up call for Posh. If you don't compete (for the second ball especially), put in crosses first time, shoot, get players in the box (especially those with the intelligence to get in front of the defender), get in tackles when the opposition are fannying about outside your 18 yard box, then you are going to get beat by what is basically a poor/average side. Although it must be said that the windy conditions were not conclusive to an entertaining football match. The one difference with this Posh side since Ferguson left is that they are trying to play in the right direction and not sideways and backwards, so that is the positive to take out of the situation. Posh are now down to eighth place although in reality that is equal 6th (in the play-offs) on goal difference, having played a game more than Rochdale who are sitting pretty in sixth place with a goal difference of +14 against Posh at -1:
