PETERBOROUGH chief Ged Rathbone is convinced Nikolaj Busk Jakobsen can become the club's next great Dane.
Readypower Panthers have swooped to land the hot prospect on loan from parent club Rye House for the 2016 season.
Busk Jakobsen arrives on a 6.91 average and agreed a deal only days after impressing on the international stage.
He slammed in 15 points to help Denmark win the silver medals in the World Under 21 Team Cup in Australia last weekend.
And Rathbone reckons that is the sort of form which will enable him to take the Premier League by storm next term.
Rathbone said: "I've been aware of how highly Nikolaj is rated since spending time in Denmark in 2014 and I'm delighted to get him on board.
"He arrives with some glowing references and we are fortunate that his fellow Danish guys like Anders Thomsen and Emil Grondal have spoken so positively about the club to him.
"I feel Peterborough is the perfect place for him to continue his progress and become a big Premier League star.
"He did very well in his debut season over here and I fully expect him to kick on with that experience and knowledge of all tracks now under his belt.
"He has immense potential and has a great career ahead of him. He is also excited about the move and looking forward to riding the East of England Showground on a regular basis."
Rathbone thanked the Rye House promotion for their co-operation (peterboroughpanthers.co/news Friday November 06, 2015)
