I thought the attendance was quite good this year, and certainly but a friend asked a Steward what the attendance was and he was told 35,000 at start time.

BSI Speedway, rights holder of the FIM Speedway Grand Prix series (SGP), is currently in negotiations with the Millennium Stadium and the Welsh Assembly Government to extend contract and agreements for the staging of FIM British Speedway Grand Prix in Cardiff.
These complex discussions are still ongoing and as soon as BSI Speedway is in a position to make an announcement, we will do so.
Until that time, it is recommended that fans do not make any plans based on rumour or conjecture; they should wait until an official announcement has been made by BSI Speedway.
BSI Speedway would like to thank the fans for their patience on this matter and will continue to keep them updated via speedwaygp.com.

When there are no Brits in next year's series will British Speedway realise that it has to be more insular and look after and develop its own? you never know barker or kennett might get thro the qualifiers yet 16th Edward Kennett (Great Britain) - 3 (0,0,2, d, 1) You'll be sweating on Barker then, what a horrible thought  |
