King's Lynn Stars returned to the Norfolk Arena for a challenge match against fellow promoted team, Birmingham in the Elite Elevation Trophy. The Stars tracked four of their winter signings in front of a large crowd.
One of the New Stars on show was new number one rider, Kenneth Bjerre. The highest ranked Dane in the world got his career at the Norfolk Arena off to to the good start with a second place behind Birmingham's new number one Krzysztof Kasperzak.
Returning for a fifteenth season, Tomas Topinka opened up his 2011 account with a third place behind his team mate, a fast start saw the Czech International match Kasperzak from the gate but lifted coming out of the second bend allowing Bjerre to pass into second place.
The second of the new Stars made his debut in the second heat, Filip Sitera made the most of gate four and led team mate Lasse Bjerre into the first bend, the home pair left the Birmingham reserves, Theo Pjiper and James Wright behind to ensure an early lead for the Stars.
2011 Captain Olly Allen and new team member Mads Korneliussen partnered well in the third heat, Allen was fast from the gate and like the previous race, the Stars were on a maximum heat advantage. Birmingham's Danny King challenged Mads coming out of the second bend but lifted which ended his chance of catching the Dane and handing a 5-1 to the home team.
The Stars final member of the 2011 team, Niels-Kristian Iversen made his debut in the the fourth heat, this time it was the visiting pair of former King's Lynn rider Daniel Nermark to make the better gate. Iversen passed a slower Nermark coming over the start/finish line of the first lap to take the lead while his team mate Sitera passed James Wright coming off of the second bend to give the Stars another heat advantage and extend their lead to ten points.
The Brummies acted fast on going ten points down with a double points nomination for Krzystof Kasprzak in heat five, the Pole started the heat with a lighting gate and led for the opening lap, a persistent Mads continued to get closer to Kasprzak and passed him on the outside entering the third lap to level the heat up at four points each.
Kenneth Bjerre's second heat of the night ended with him being excluded for causing Birmingham's Daniel Nermark to fall in the first turn. In the re-run, Topinka and Nermark were level coming into the first bend but the Swede just edged out Tomas coming out of the second bend, Topinka was close to passing Nermark entering the final lap but the Brummies rider held on to give his team their first heat advantage.
The Stars moved twelve points ahed with a good ride from Tomas Topinka in the eighth heat but the plaudits will go to reserve Filip Sitera who battled his way passed Ales Dryml to give the home team their third maximum heat of the night.
The score got worse for the Brummies in heat nine, the middle order of Allen and Korneliussen extended the Stars lead to 14 points with a heat advantage, Brummies Theo Pjiper managed to hold off Korneliussen for the remaining three laps before the interval.
After the Interval, the home team killed off the meeting with another maximum heat, this time is was Kennth Bjerre and Tomas Topinka who worked well at the start to hold off the Brummies middle order of Barker & King who mounted a challenged for second place towards the end of the heat.
The crucial heat thirteen heat went the way of the home team, Kennth Bjerre added his second win of the night while a great ride from Niels Iversen who gated last but was able to pass Nermark and then Kasperzak by the end of the second lap gave King's Lynn a 22 point advantage.
Birmingham nominated Danny King for double points in the penultimate heat of the night, King gated better than the home pair of Korneliussen and Lasse Bjerre and led into the first corner. Mads on his home debut showed that he will be one to watch this year and passed under King entering the final corner to score his second win of the night.
The nominated race went the way of the Brummies, Krzystof Kasperzak's persistence paid off at the end of a close heat, Iversen led the race from the gate with Kasperzak and then Danny King close behind. The Polish rider worked the inside line and then the outside line but on the final corner he came under Iversen to take the heat victory on the finish line.
KING’S LYNN: Niels Kristian Iversen 11+1, Mads Korneliussen 9+1, Tomas Topinka 8+2, Olly Allen 8+1, Filip Sitera 8+1, Kenneth Bjerre 8, Lasse Bjerre 4+3.
BIRMINGHAM: Krzysztof Kasprzak 14, Danny King 9, Daniel Nermark 5, Ben Barker 4, Theo Pijper 3, James Wright 2+1, Ales Dryml 1.

correct it was garbage not many panthers fans there this week The first meeting always draws in the punters but then the hard work of maintaining that interest starts. This year was gonna be a toughie anyway without the rule changes and winter of discontent but they've got a job on now

The King's Lynn 'Roger Warnes' Stars scored their first points in the Elite League with a home win over the Belle Vue Aces at the Norfolk Arena on a wet Wednesday night, the meeting was delayed due to constant rain from the early part of the Afternoon until just before the racing began.
Excellent work by the Track Staff turned the very damp track into race-able conditions for the home and away riders to battle for the second time this week, this time the meeting victory went the way of the Stars aided by a good performances by reserve Lasse and number one Kenneth.
The Stars pairing of Kenneth and Tomas opened the night with a heat advantage over British number one Chris Harris and Charlie Gjedde who fell on the second lap. It wasn't until heat four that the Stars pulled out a considerable gap between the sides, a determined first corner by Niels-Kristian Iversen opened a gap for reserve replacement Lasse Bjerre to make his way into second place ahead of Rory Schlein and move the Stars 6 points ahead.
The visitors had to wait until heat eight before they could claw any points back on the Stars, returning to the Norfolk Arena Kozza Smith made the most of the conditions and led into the first corner ahead of Lasse Bjerre but an engine failure from Tomas Topinka gifted Charlie Gjedde third place and their first heat advantage of the night.
In the end the Stars had to settle for two league points instead of three, a final heat advantage from the Aces pair of Chris Harris and Rory Schlein closed the gap between the team to 6 points which moves the King's Lynn 'Roger Warnes' Stars into fourth place in the league while Belle Vue move into first place.

Stars have a convincing twenty one point win over the visiting Swindon Robins.
The Stars were led by inspired performances by Niels-Kristian Iversen along with the Bjerre Brothers who all produced double figures from the programme rides, Kenneth opened his night with a heat one victory ahead of Swindon's number one Scott Nicholls and team mate Tomas Topinka who was catching the British International by the end of the race. The middle order of Olly Allen and Mads Korneliussen linked up well in heat three to give the Stars their first maximum race of the night and an early six point lead.
Heat four proved to be one of the races of the night, Niels-Kristian Iversen made a mess of the start and found himself entering the first turn behind the Swindon pair of Maciej Janowski & Josh Grajczonek as well as team mate Filip Sitera. The Danish International showed his skill and passed Filip coming off the third bend of the opening lap before making his way past the Robins pair on the second lap.
Scott Nicholls stopped the run of King's Lynn heat wins in the fifth race, a win ahead of Mads Korneliussen with guest team mate Jason Lyons third reduced the Stars lead to four points but an inform Kenneth Bjerre won the next race with Tomas Topinka in third place restored the home teams lead heading into the second half of the meeting.
Team manager Rob Lyon switched the reserves for heat eight, Lasse Bjerre replaced Filip Sitera for the race and the Dane linked up well with Tomas Topinka to give the home team their second maximum heat of the night, Swindon's third and final race win of the night came in heat nine where Scott Nicholls donned the black & white helmet colour but with a good ride from Allen and Korneliusen to make up the final points places and keep the Stars nine points ahead.
Lasse Bjerre scored his second win of the night in heat 11, a perfect gate got him to the first bend ahead of team mate Iversen and Robins pairing of Scott Nicholls & Jason Lyons to take the win and give his team a 13 point lead on the night. The maximum heat for Bjerre & Iversen inspired two more maximum heats in to extend their lead to 21 points and their second home league win of the season.

King’s Lynn 65, Lakeside 30
Delighted King’s Lynn team boss Rob Lyon predicts the best is yet to come after tonight’s stunning televised Elite League romp at the Norfolk Arena.
Lynn buried Lakeside under an early barrage of maximums to showcase the Saddlebow outfit in front of a national and international television audience. Niels-Kristian Iversen edged out compatriot Kenneth Bjerre from top billing in an emphatic display – but Lyon insists there is room for improvement.
“I didn’t know whether we would run up a score like that because it is difficult to predict in this league but we hit them hard from heat one and before they knew it we were 24 up,” he said. “If I had any criticism of the boys – and you can’t really have the way they rode – but when we get teams who come here and really like this place and we don’t gate it will be difficult for us. So we have to work on that, but that apart, we were superb.
“We sent them out with the message to get into them straight away, like last week, and they showed 100% commitment. We knew if we did we would come out with a three point win and they just went for it.”
Lyon was adamant his side deserved full credit against a visiting septet who had to wait until heat 12 for a solitary tactical success from Adam Shields.
“They made the gate a few times and it was only our boys coming around them which made the difference,” he said. “Lakeside gave it their all – you couldn’t fault them for effort. It was just that we were exceptionally good. It won’t always be like that but all we can do is try and give the same performance every week.”
Kenneth Bjerre set the tone with a cruise in the opener - Tomas Topinka taking the shortest route possible as he dragged his front wheel over the inner concrete to hold up Lee Richardson. Lasse Bjerre bravely squeezed through a sliver of space into turn one to dictate the reserves but Filip Sitera worked overtime to weave past Robert Mear.
Shields trapped in front of the hosts, but Stars’ skipper Olly Allen and Mads Korneliussen conjured a home pincer to sweep past the outgunned Hammer. Peter Ljung briefly headed Iversen but the Dane dived into turn three before a revitalised Sitera stalked Ljung to rocket off the final bend.
Richardson was already in tactical territory by heat four to stem the onslaught but Allen provided nuisance value long enough for Korneliussen to clinch the flag to move Lynn an improbable 24 clear.
The imperious Kenneth Bjerre cruised to heat six in a sub-59 second tour, although Topinka’s sluggish trap from gate four earned Lakeside the serenity of a shared race after Lynn’s blistering start.
Shields momentarily threatened the hosts’ hegemony in the next until Iversen poured on the power, but Lasse Bjerre had to defer to the Australian.
Topinka and his young understudy Sitera pounced after Mear rolled at the start with Kyle Legault bailing out prior to turn one. Allen glided to the next with the all action Korneliussen muscling his way into the captain’s slipstream to underline the Stars’ total mastery of the smooth surface.
Kenneth Bjerre reduced heat ten to a gentle parade but the battling Shields repelled Topinka to break the mid-meeting home spell. Iversen mugged Richardson in heat 11 with the Hammer striving for a collector’s item of a heat win – the Dane arcing from out to in down the home straight in a decisive pass. Shields finally ended the visiting hoodoo with an impressive tactical success. Iversen and Kenneth Bjerre gated in tandem to end heat 13 as a contest by the first bend with Lynn’s grand prix ace happy for Iversen to claim the spoils. Korneliussen tried to make it interesting in the penultimate tour by dragging his machine wide to pick up enough grip to slingshot past Mear as moved Lynn through the 60-point barrier. Kenneth Bjerre book-ended the Stars’ stroll with another Danish masterclass in the finale to complete a one-sided encounter.
• Stars: K Bjerre 14+1, Topinka 6+1, Allen 9, Korneliussen 10+2, Iversen 14+1, L Bjerre 5, Sitera 7+4.
• Hammers: Richardson 7, Nieminen 0, Shields 12, Swiderski 1+1, Ljung 3+1, Mear 7, Legault 0.

King’s Lynn boss Lyon braced for Poole test King’s Lynn team boss Rob Lyon is braced for a Good Friday Elite League cracker against title favourites Poole at the Norfolk Arena. (7pm)Lynn’s play-off ambitions face a stern test against a visiting outfit bolstered by the injury return of ex-Lynn racer and double World-U21 champion Darcy Ward. Poole also track British GP winner Chris Holder and highly-rated Swedish talent Dennis Andersson plus Norfolk Arena favourite Davey Watt. Lynn go into the meeting buoyed by an excellent away league win at Swindon which underlined their impressive early season top flight form. “Poole are one of the teams we will only be meeting on a single occasion this year so we must secure a win against them,” said Lyon. “It will make a big difference in our bid for a place in this season’s play-offs, especially when I expect Poole to win at least 50% of their away matches and effectively take points off of other teams that will be fighting against us for a play-off place.“I don’t expect it to be easy and can see this being one of the hardest fought battles ever seen at King’s Lynn. It won’t be for the faint-hearted, that’s for sure.” Lynn track the same septet that crushed Lakeside 65-30 in front of the televsion cameras last week. Lynn stunned Elite League title favourites Poole tonight in front of a huge Bank Holiday crowd at the Norfolk Arena. Rob Lyon’s men are rapidly turning Saddlebow into a top flight fortress after producing a late meeting surge to sink the Pirates. Darcy Ward claimed the individual honours on a first competitive return to his former club but Lynn’s collective strength proved too strong for the shale aristocrats. Lyon and Stars’ chief Buster Chapman embraced on the inner track after watching Lynn nullify Ward’s heat 14 tactical success to ultimately clinch victory before Kenneth Bjerre and Niels-Kristian Iversen sealed a maximum home win. Danish compatriot Mads Korneliussen insisted afterwards Lynn have the staying power to remain the league’s surprise package over the rest of the campaign. “I don’t think anybody expected us to take all three points because Poole is so strong home and away,” said Korneliussen, who chipped in with paid eight. “It wasn’t the best of nights for me. I will come back stronger but it was great for the team and a fantastic crowd. It was quite tight all the way through but Kenneth and Niels were going really well so we were always confident of doing well in heats 13 and 15. It was just a matter of keeping the distance. “We’ve spoken about team spirit all year and that is one of the main things. Even if we mess each other up in the first turns we just have a chat about it in the pits and carry on smiling. Before the season everybody wrote us off and now they are talking about us in the play-offs. That is how quickly things can change in speedway and it can change the other way as well. We believe as a team we can do that. In a lot of other clubs, it’s the management who think that – not the riders and that is a big difference.” British grand prix winner Chris Holder dived into turn one to head Bjerre in a heavyweight heat one tussle delayed fully 25 minutes to allow the sizeable crowd into the Arena. Dennis Andersson underlined his reputation with a committed trap before Ward treated his Lynn fan club to a glimpse of former glories – leaning almost parallel to the shale for the extra grip to shoot past Olly Allen. Iversen drew the hosts’ level on the scoresheets after muscling his way past Davey Watt to dictate heat four. Holder turned heat five into a procession but Allen and Korneliussen team rode smartly to shut out Renat Gafurov. Tomas Topinka rolled back the years to raise the decibel levels when he dipped into the memory banks for the best lines to subdue Andersson. Poole’s Team GB boss Neil Middleditch sensed an opportunity to close the four point gap by deploying Andersson on a reserve switch but Topinka stormed across from gate four to renew acquaintances. The wily Watt dragged his machine wide in a successful bid to block Allen to keep the visitors in touch at the interval. Topinka sacrificed himself for the greater good when he swung across former team mate Ward to allow Bjerre a wide arcing line around the Aussie. Iversen felled the giant in heat 11 to break the spell of shared heats - with the previously untouchable Holder needing all his racing powers to fend off battling Lynn guest Josh Auty after a concerted last lap onslaught from the Sheffield ace. Bjerre exacted revenge on Holder for his defeat in the opener with a pillion heat 13 ride to nullify his grand prix rival behind compatriot Iversen. Ward’s salvage mission in the penultimate tour was doomed to failure when Andersson’s engine failure sealed the visitors’ fate – Korneliussen and Auty happy to defer for the minor spoils. Bjerre and Iversen still had a maximum home win to protect in the finale and the Danish double act delivered to massive acclaim from the packed stands. edp

King’s Lynn chief Lyon wary of wounded EaglesKing’s Lynn team boss Rob Lyon is way of the threat posed by Elite League table toppers Eastbourne tonight at the Norfolk Arena. (7.45pm) Second-placed Lynn have swept all before them at Saddlebow but Lyon insists the Eagles will look to bounce back from a televised ten point defeat at struggling Swindon on Bank Holiday Monday. “I was at the Ipswich meeting earlier in the day and only got back to see the last couple of heats,” he said. “I was actually surprised Swindon were able to rally themselves and get the win by more than seven points, but that was good for us because it will be very tight in this league and any help you get from teams taking points off other teams is welcome. “I’m not surprised to see them up there. Bjarne Pedersen has carried on from where he left off last season. The team had a solid look about it and they have lads who can score points from reserve which is crucial. The likes of Lewis Bridger have now stepped up into the main body of the team, but they still can call on someone like Cameron Woodward. It’ll be interesting to see how they go. They have coped well on the bigger tracks this season. I saw them at Peterborough where they were right in that meeting until Peterborough got themselves together and pulled away.” Lasse Bjerre returns to the home septet after missing the Good Friday win over pre-season title favourites Poole due to Danish riding commitments. Bjerre’s more illustrious elder brother and Stars’ grand prix ace Kenneth will aim to bounce back from his disappointing Pairs’ display on home shale last week. “He just had one of those meetings I guess with mechanical gremlins. You just hope the bad one is out of the way now,” said Lyon. “Lasse hasn’t ridden for us away from home yet but he hasshown enough already that he can handle this league at home where he looks to be dialled in.” Bjerre’s Ipswich team mate and Stars’ squad man Morten Risager is poised for a spell on the sidelines after severing the little finger on his right-hand in a shunt at Rye House on Monday night. Stars’ number eight Adam Roynon was also ruled out for up to three months after breaking his leg on Witches’ duty. “Adam broke his femur last week and will be out for maybe two to three months,” said Lyon. “He was at the Ipswich meeting on Monday after being released from hospital although I didn’t actually see him. He’s had an horrendous time with injuries in his career and it’s difficult to know what to say, but he just has to work hard to get himself fit again. We put a squad together at the start of the season and of course injuries are part and parcel of it. We’ll have to perhaps sit down now and work out what we do with the number eight position. “I don’t know the full details of what happened with Morten, but they were operating on him Tuesday morning and hoping to re-attach the finger. It’s the little one on his right hand and we wish him well and a speedy recovery.” • Gates open at 6pm, parade at 7:30pm with the first race at 7:45pm • Admission prices: Adults £15, concessions £12, junior (aged 12 to 15 years) £5 with free entry for children aged 11 and under. • Stars: 1 Kenneth Bjerre, 2 Tomas Topinka, 3 Olly Allen, 4 Mads Korneliussen, 5 Niels-Kristian Iversen, 6 Lasse Bjerre, 7 Filip Sitera. • Eagles: 1 Bjarne Pedersen, 2 Lukas Dryml, 3 Simon Gustafsson, 4 Lewis Bridger, 5 Jonas Klymakorpi, 6 Timo Lahti, 7 Cameron Woodward. King’s Lynn’s heartbreaking final heat Elite League defeat tonight was compounded by a suspected dislocated shoulder injury for skipper Olly Allen.
The Norfolk-bred ace hit the deck two corners into his first race in heat three but walked back to the pits before confirming his early retirement.
Allen later revealed he had suffered a recurring collarbone injury which rules him out of Thursday’s Elite League trip to Birmingham and the Stars’ captain must also be a serious doubt for this weekend’s league return against the leaders.
Lynn looked to have overcome their numerical disadvantage to set up a thrilling finale but Kenneth Bjerre’s engine failure with the Stars’ on a maximum gifted Eastbourne the victory.
“We had no luck all night and the referee’s decisions were awful,” said frustrated Stars’ team boss Rob Lyon. “I really don’t know what meeting she was looking at, if I’m honest with. That is the way it goes sometimes. The decision to exclude Mads (Korneliussen) was strange. No-one in the pits could understand that one.
“We fought our way to the end but in heat 15 when it looked like we were going to nick a win Kenneth’s engine goes. We had a problem when Olly crashed and that made it a backs-to-the-wall job so with that and no luck at all to take it to a last heat decider was not too bad an achievement.”
Kenneth Bjerre appeared to have put his Elite League Pairs woes behind him with an opening cruise but Tomas Topinka ran wide exiting turn two to gift Bjarne Pedersen second.
Cameron Woodward and Timo Lahti proved too quick for the hosts’ bottom-end pair in a portent of what was to come.
Korneliussen won an eventful heat three re-run after Allen’s exclusion after tangling with Simon Gustafsson. Korneliussen drove inside the Eastbourne pair to dictate before Lewis Bridger crashed out on the final lap of an awarded tour. Niels-Kristian Iversen opened his account in emphatic fashion.
Korneliussen was then controversially excluded after Pedersen squeezed the Dane out, but Lasse Bjerre reeled in Lukas Dryml to split the visiting duo. Older brother Kenneth reduced the early arrears with a sharp sub-59 second tour. Iversen’s second flag of the night moved Lynn back in front for the first time since the opener – courtesy of Lasse Bjerre’s workaholic efforts to subdue Gustafsson in the rear. Topinka replicated the youngster’s heroic rearguard action to anchor another slim home heat advantage. Filip Sitera jousted with Lahti but held the Finn at bay as the theme of the night continued with Joonas Kylmakorpi comfortable at the head of affairs.
Topinka dived into Kenneth Bjerre’s tyre tracks but the Eagles’ duo swarmed past the Czech who looked a forlorn figure as he trailed in casting anxious glances down at his machine. Lasse Bjerre proved he was no respecter of reputations with an impudent attempt around the outside of grand prix racer Pedersen before his countryman re-asserted his authority to move Eastbourne back within a point.
Gustafson and Lahti anchored a painful maximum for the home fans to wrestle back control of this table-topping contest. Pedersen inflicted a first defeat of the night on Kenneth Bjerre to underline the shifting balance of power. Woodward was excluded in the penultimate tour after tangling with Lasse Bjerre who hauled himself off the track to partner Korneliussen to a dramatic maximum to cut Eastbourne’s lead to a point.
Kenneth Bjerre and Korneliussen went to the tapes needing any sort of heat advantage to complete a remarkable comeback and the Danes rocketed out of the traps but Bjerre senior agonisingly trundled to a halt around the bottom bend and with him went Lynn’s unbeaten home record.
• Stars: K Bjerre 11, Topinka 3, Allen 0, Korneliussen 10, Iversen 6, L Bjerre 11+1, Sitera 2+1.
• Eagles: Pedersen 12, Dryml 4, Gustafsson 7, Bridger 4+1, Klymakorpi 10+1, Lahti 2+1, Woodward 7+1.

Coventry tracked Russian sensation Emil Sayfutdinov for his UK domestic debut but Rob Lyon’s men responded in front of a bumper Saddlebow turn out. The hosts also had to recover from a mid-meeting injury blow when Niels-Kristian Iversen retired with a dislocated shoulder but Lynn’s teak tough reserves dug deep with Kenneth Bjerre (five ride maximum) leading from the front.
Sayfutdinov dawdled at the traps in the opener but swiftly dived inside Sam Masters before jousting with Kenneth Bjerre – Lynn’s Dane clearly on the gas to repel the high profile Bee in a 59.04 second tour.
Lasse Bjerre shredded the tapes in the reserves - forcing the impressive teen off 15 metres. Team mate Filip Sitera was caught in a Coventry pincer but Richard Sweetman’s mature defensive line held up the Czech to anchor a visiting maximum.
Mads Korneliussen played hard ball with the ever-popular Ryan Fisher to glide into Olly Allen’s slipstream as Lyon’s men replied in kind. Iversen looked sharp in heat four but for drama Sitera’s joust with Josh Auty caught the eye – Lynn’s young Czech cashing in on the final lap to edge a home heat advantage.
Allen tumbled in heat five but Sayfutdinov’s breathtaking tight bottom bend pass stunned Korneliussen to underscore the Russian’s class – Coventry’s number one taking the acclaim of the appreciative Norfolk Arena faithful.
Masters was outmuscled by Edward Kennett and Sweetman but Kenneth Bjerre was far too swift for the Coventry duo to leave the duo deadlocked on 18 apiece after six. Iversen almost took out Lasse Bjerre when Fisher grabbed the inside dirt before the Dane tumbled around the top bend looking to cut back on the former Edinburgh racer – Iversen walking back to the pits holding his left shoulder prior to his early retirement.
Fisher claimed the re-run with the outnumbered Bjerre junior using all his Saddlebow trackcraft to foil Auty. Troy Batchelor maintained Coventry’s mid-meeting surge but Sitera and Masters threw up a home roadblock to frustrate Auty to kept Lynn within touching distance. Korneliussen and Allen pounded in a second home maximum to tilt the contest back in Lynn’s favour on the cusp of the interval.
Captain Allen trapped superbly but Korneliussen had to graft his way past Kennett with the Team GB squad man pushing the Stars’ second string to the wire. Auty catapulted over his bars exiting turn four on the restart after Masters and Kenneth Bjerre held their tight lines behind Fisher. Coventry’s young Brit hobbled back to the pits before Kenneth Bjerre overcame a sluggish gate on the initial tour to complete his hat-trick.
Sayfutdinov claimed the next but Sitera bravely nudged aside Batchelor to back up Lasse Bjerre as Lynn’s reserves squared off the heat spoils to preserve their four point lead. Allen shepherded the over-worked Sitera around to cancel out Fisher’s flag in the next.
Kenneth Bjerre blasted away from Sayfutdinov in heat 13 to maintain his throttle-perfect night before Lynn struck a decisive blow when Korneliussen and Lasse Bjerre powered past Fisher to delight a huge home crowd in the penultimate contest.
Sayfutdinov and Kennett trapped in the finale but, fittingly, maximum man Kenneth Bjerre dipped inside his GP rival to tumultuous applause from the home fans.
