Emile Sinclair's late equaliser denied struggling Coventry a priceless win as Peterborough came from behind.
Sinclair had opened the scoring for Peterborough from 25 yards before Cody McDonald's header levelled.
Gary McSheffrey then put the home side ahead from the penalty spot after Lee Tomlin fouled Jordan Clarke.
But Sinclair rescued a point for Posh, who are nine points above the bottom three, when he poked home his 14th goal of the season.
Coventry, who appeared doomed not long ago, are one point from safety with five games remaining.
They are now unbeaten in seven although manager Andy Thorn will feel they should have secured a third straight victory despite falling behind.

Sinclair gave Peterborough the perfect start with an exquisite finish from outside the box.
But Coventry were back on level terms when Oliver Norwood's cross-field pass was brought down by Clarke at the far post and he lofted an inviting cross for McDonald to head past Paul Jones.
Coventry were ahead at the interval after Tomlin upended the impressive Clarke in the 45th minute, McSheffrey sending Jones the wrong way from the spot.
But Peterborough secured a point with 14 minutes remaining, Sinclair converting skipper Grant McCann's corner from close range.
