Peterborough United have already sold 4,300 season tickets for the 2012-13 Championship campaign, just over 200 fewer than the total sold ahead of last season.
Chairman Darragh MacAnthony expects to reach his season-ticket cap of 5,000.
MacAnthony said: “We will smash the cap for sure.
“We are miles ahead of last year, not to mention all our hospitality is sold out boxes wise and 75 club so onwards and upwards!”
