Your logic works both ways - If the heat leaders equal themselves out then surely it's between the 2nd strings and reserves? Decent meeting Outside of their big 3 Poole were crap. If Swindon can get away on Weds in the first half of the meeting then they could just hold on Swindon Robins = 511. Hans Andersen - 3, 3, 2, 2, 1* = 11+1 2. Nick Morris - 2*, 0, 3, 1* = 6+2 3. Peter Kildemand - 1, 2, 3, 2, 2 = 10 4. Simon Stead - 3, 1*, 2*, 2 = 8+2 5. Troy Batchelor - F, 3, 2, F = 5 6. Dawid Lampart - 2*,1, X = 3+1 7. Sebastian Alden - 3, 2, 2*, 1*, X = 8+2 Poole Pirates = 441. Darcy Ward - 0, 3, 6^, 3, 3 = 15 2. Ricky Kling - 1, 0, 0, R, 1 = 2 3. Chris Holder - 2, 2, 6^, 3, 0 = 13 4. Piotr Pawlicki R/R (SM R) (RK 0) (KH 0) (KK 3) 5. Krzysztof Kasprzak - 3, 2, 1, 1, 3 = 10 6. Sam Masters - 1, R, 1*, 1, 0, 0, R = 3+1 7. Kyle Howarth - 0, 1, 0 = 1 speedwayupdates

So Pearson was wittering on that the meeting will be on last Monday due to the covers being on, but it was off due to a wet evening as well. Tonight it's now dry but the covers were not on which apparently would have saved the meeting - unbelievable Pearson says that with the income stream British Speedway has then covers must be the way to go? What income stream is that

Must be costing Matt Ford a fortune with these postponements. Shucks.

Ward got beaten up so I can't see him riding. You reap what you sow (rather unfortunate term in his case!) with Swindon also sympathetic despite having a party in the background: POOLE star Darcy Ward is set to miss Monday's Elite League grand final second leg after being hospitalised on Friday night. The young Australian is currently receiving treatment following an incident outside a pub in Dorset, a matter of hours after the initial staging of the meeting was postponed due to rain. It is not yet clear quite how serious the injuries are, but the Advertiser understands Ward will not be fit to face the Robins on Monday night, with the Pirates able to call upon a guest. swindonadvertiser

Police confirmed this morning that they were called to a fight outside the Churchill Arms in Sturminster Marshall at 1.20am on Saturday. A spokesman said Ward's injuries were minor (although he needed a brain scan to see if he has one I assume?) and no complaints had been made.

I'm gutted, rather Ford win it than that horrible lot from Blunsdon. With Ward and Holder out it'd be a hollow victory anyway for the EL runners up

If Poole hadn't poached Miedzinski from Swindon and had to use a normal 5 point rider they wouldn't have even finished in the top 4. For the good of British Speedway we need a Swindon win.

Chris Holder @chris_Holder23Never crashed today my foot went under the footrest goin down the straight... Was pretty painful! Still planning to race tomorrow! Still think that Ward is a massive miss and it's Swindons to lose.

Suprised they didn't book MJJ as a guest for Ward. Honestly, Let's hope Poole win or we will never hear the end of it from Batchelor and the Panthers fans who wanted Hans+Troy. "Honestly" You mean seriously of course! Problem is that they had a point. Don't think it matters which way it goes but better that Poole win I agree. Poole were/are rank outside Holder and Ward which goes to prove that they must be able to virtually win a meeting on there own.

Isn't it amazing that Belle Vue is called off at 3pm when it has hardly rained in Manchester today and that is fact. The lengths that some people go to are incredible and some of you lot on here think it would be good for the sport if Poole win tongiht?
