MEETING FORMAT
16 riders compete in 20 qualifying heats but all irrelavant really as only heat 23 counts
Top 2 from the heats go direct to the Grand Final, with the riders placed 3rd-6th racing in a semi-final.
1st and 2nd from the semi-final then progress to the Grand Final.
The winner of the Grand Final is crowned 2012 Elite League Riders Champion.

THE draw has been made for the Elite League Riders’ Championship at Swindon on Saturday October 20.

Belle Vue star Rory Schlein defends the title he won in thrilling style at the same venue last season, and the line-up also includes new World Champion Chris Holder and his Poole team-mate Darcy Ward.

The home club will be represented by Hans Andersen and Troy Batchelor and also competing will be previous winner Freddie Lindgren and multiple British Champions Scott Nicholls and Chris Harris.

Comments: Schlein fell into bend 1 all4back bit of a delay to sort bike out he has a bit of trouble with his ankle too.
Schlein down again bend 3 lap 1 and is excluded from re-run down for a bit but as Ambulance came onto track he got to his feet.
Holder led all the way caught a bit of grip mid bend 3/4 lap 1 but held on for the win.
