Ullevi Stadium in Gothenburg hosts its ninth FIM Speedway Grand Prix in 2013. The first three SGP events held at Ullevi Stadium in Gothenburg were Scandinavian FIM Speedway Grand Prix (2002, 2003 and 2004). The Ullevi Stadium returned to the SGP calendar for the 2008 Swedish FIM Speedway Grand Prix on the 24th May 2008 and it has hosted the event ever since.

Their certainly wasn't that crowd (picture) when we went last year, probably 8k at the most, despite that not a bad GP at an impressive stadium and the track wasn't too bad either, Gothenburgs lovely as well, very impressed.

And Sweden get two GPs. We get 40,000 but get one. Even if the attendance split to 2 x 20,000 it'll still beat what they get for both I'd imagine!

I find myself totally disinterested in the GPs now they are off SKY.

I find myself totally disinterested in the GPs now they are off SKY. The coverage on Eurosport is very similar and only £2.99 per month. I added the App on my iPad and use AV lead to play it on 'tut big telly'. Will also be able to watch the controversial Euro championship. I just like watching Speedway.

I find myself totally disinterested in the GPs now they are off SKY. Don't care where they are shown, think that they are excellent Saturday evening viewing, especially when your a Panthers supporter and speedway is just something which happens elsewhere to other people. The SGP thakfully fills the gap somewhat. Irritatingly created this week by another shitty Arena event

gonna back woffinden, looks like he's riding rockets, trouble is 2 gate 4s could be a problem Certainly says something when Woffinden is in a match bet with Hancock and is the favourite at 8/11 against even money Hancock. Woffinden is also in the mix to make top 8 with the likes of Lindren, Jonsson, Zagar etc out with the washing! Swedish Grand Prix Winner Betting Odds

I thought that it looked poor once again, much like the racing until people started falling off which shouldn't be a selling point!
