Peterborough United travel to League One rivals Colchester United in the first round of the Capital One Cup on Tuesday evening (7.45pm).
Darren Ferguson's men go into the fixture with the U's on the back of an opening day success over Swindon Town, while Colchester will also buoyed by a first win of the season, pocketing maximum points following a last minute victory.
Ferguson indicated in the pre-match press conference he would be playing his 'strongest team' for the clash and with no fresh injuries in the camp, he has a strong squad to choose from.
'I am not someone who tends to rotate players, particularly so early on in the season. I want a good cup run, I feel we haven't really had one at this club in my time and we want to progress as far as we can in the competition.
'The players trained well on Monday and are feeling fit so there is no real reason to change the team based on fitness. I will select what I consider to be the best team to be the opposition.
'Colchester had a good win on the opening day and they are very strong at home, so it will be a difficult test for us, but we are going there to play our football and come away with the right result,' Ferguson said.
