1. Tai Woffinden - 3, 3, 0, 4^, 2, 2 = 14 Woffinden did well apart from he race he got shoved out in the first bend, Just lost to Hancock twice and Ward in the last ride. This is where we lost. 4. Ben Barker - 0, 1, 1, 0, 1 = 3 2. Lewis Bridger - 2, 0, 2, FX = 4 Yup, I think Woffinden did is job with dire support as expected. You can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear although we talk it up every year RACE OFF SCORES:AUSTRALIA 36: 1 Jason Doyle 8, 2 Troy Batchelor 7, 3 Cameron Woodward 8, 4 Darcy Ward 13. USA 31: 1 Ricky Wells 3, 2 Gino Manzares 0, 3 Ryan Fisher 8, 4 Greg Hancock 20. LATVIA 29: 1 Kasts Puodzuks 10, 2 Maksims Bogdanovs 9, 3 Vjaceslavs Giruckis 5, 4 Andzejs Lebedevs 5. GREAT BRITAIN 28: 1 Tai Woffinden 14, 2 Lewis Bridger 4, 3 Chris Harris 7, 4 Ben Barker 3. Having said that, with the addition of another piece of quality we could have made the final or even won the meeting so it's not that bad? Although in addition to the above, the Poles, Denmark, a fit Sweden, a full strength Russia (perhaps) are all well ahead of us

You can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear although we talk it up every year This is what comes of riding all GB big meetings on trick tracks like Lakeside and Wolves, the Brits just haven't got the experience with the big ones, a start would be to hold the British Final at Lynn if next years SWC qualifier will be held there, at least it would provide Middlo with his best 4. Lets be honest the BSPA don't give a damn about the GB team if they did they would do something about it, look at the team managers we have had over the last few years, Woffinden and Harris apart we are bloody woeful, although I would have left Cook in for the Race Off and just replaced Kennett.

I thought this would improve but that final looks a shocker as well, not to mention the track

If we discount Woffinden, who I suspect if he had the choice again would elect to be Australian this country has nobody anywhere near the top 20 in the world.

I thought this would improve but that final looks a shocker as well, not to mention the track Lovely city and nice to spend a weekend there but the Marketa track is bloody awful, rock hard and as slick as lakesidethe M25. Saturdays final will primarily be a gating competition. I hope it's a bigger crowd than they had at the Race Off, looked 1/4 full at best.

Should be with an expectant home crowd, unfortunately the home team wouldn't have made the race-off if going through events 1&2: SWC FINAL LINE-UPS: AUSTRALIA (RED) Darcy Ward Cameron Woodward Jason Doyle Troy Batchelor (captain) Team Manager: Mark Lemon POLAND (BLUE) Jaroslaw Hampel (captain) Krzysztof Kasprzak Patryk Dudek Maciej Janowski Team Manager: Marek Cieslak CZECH REPUBLIC (WHITE) Vaclav Milik Ales Dryml (captain) Lukas Dryml Josef Franc Team Manager: Milan Spinka DENMARK (YELLOW) Nicki Pedersen Kenneth Bjerre Niels-Kristian Iversen (captain) Michael Jepsen Jensen Team Manager: Anders Secher

Denmark to win if clear of injury. This track must be struck off the list - worst racing track in Speedway.

Denmark will depend on Jepsen Jensen and Bjerre 2 riders who can go AWOL at any particular moment but at the same time be immaculate. Bjerre's the only rider not using a GM so let's how he does... Hope it doesn't go tits up.

Gutted for Michael!
Iversen messed up in the previous heat leaving him to win off the graveyard Gate 4 vs Jarek Hampel who was unbeatable and off Gate 3.
Bjerre rode well but the joker cost him and Denmark as the real scores were Denmark 40 and Poland 38.

Gave it 6 races before I turned it off - garbage. I'm assuming that Poland won which is a bonus but Schlein nailed it although it wasn't rocket science: Rory Schlein @roryschlein3 My honest opinion is this was a watered down WTC Russia missing big names and as well was Sweden Australia down the world champ - Cz didn't deserve to be in the final it showed in result
Can see why he got the tin tack: Jan Stæchmann @staechmanager What a fab advert for speedway. Well done to Poland for winning, to the Danes and Aussies for terrific entertainment.

A gate and go track as expected, my one comment is: I suggest that if Kelvin Tatum says that he suggests any more I will scream, I suggest he said that he suggests at least 30 times which I suggest is too much!!!

What a Joker!!! Score more points than the rest and finish 2nd, WTF! A close score does not mean good racing. This contributes greatly to so many losing interest - yet they still make decisions the supporters don't want. Terrible track, crap speedway, disappointing crowd, pathetic joker, no reserves, Czech in the final. It's no wonder we are dying - whoever keeps making these decisions / rules should be shot.

And on top of that a week is taken out of the league calendar to produce Saturday evening's showpiece piece of dross. I like the way that all of the commentators talk it up like it's something unpredictable and unmissable - it wasn't really apart from an apparent joker. I haven't watched it but sounds like Poland did a smash and grab

The only happy fans are those that have seen their team benefit from such a ludicrous rule. All other fans think its farcical. Ala Panthers 2006.

I suppose this sums it all up from a British perspective ~ www.speedwaygb.co/gbsquad.htmlThe BSPA web site is still carrying a picture from 2012. How the hell can anyone take them seriously?

Well it's not the greatest crime of the century but it does highlight the fact that the ship is going round in circles with nobody at the helm and Captain Harkess is locked in the bog. There are only 2 links there. One is the up to date news item www.speedwaygb.co/news.php?extend.20938 and the other has an out of date pic with a bloke who snubbed his country! Sums it up indeed.
