Meeting is going to be amazing, Check out the Russian crowd. 15k plus Don't quite get the connection tbh? Poor field comparitively and a two bit competition being run by someone with an agenda.

This is where the BSPA/SCB should grow a pair! If this pseudo championship is not officially sanctioned they should prevent the riders from riding not penalised their UK clubs/fans. Nose spite face with huge consequences.

Sayfudinov and the Laguta brothers are huge in Poland. They get crowds of 10k + for just regular league matches.

Does the delusion that they could be world champion overide their financial brain?

I've been looking as well. Can't see it down to be shown but I thought that they said all 4 rounds were live? They are supposed to be live, as per Sky TV guide - but not on box That's what it says on the SEC website: Transmission in Eurosport television from the first Speedway European Championships final in Gdańsk had a great audience. Second SEC round from Togliatti will be available to watch live on Eurosport on Saturday August the 10th.

Probably hadn't mattered if they'd have forgot? Live WTA is more excitring than that. Virtually no outside line and follow the leader stuff. I took the dog out before I watched it and then FF most heats after the start and 1st turn. That's two big meeting in a row when I thought how exciting would that be at the EoES. Also found something else Stekkers isn't very good at yet, he ain't no Steve Brandon. Was Nicholls being paid on how many times that he could say One-Sports during the broadcast Nice little dig about riders who wanted to ride in the SEC not being allowed: badly written from Wikipedia: " BSI—One Sports relationships - The Speedway Grand Prix promoter, BSI of the United Kingdom, effectively prevented the appearance top riders in SEC. British federation, Auto-Cycle Union (ACU) after the withdrawal of Nicholls refused to nominate other British riders. Because final events date do not coincide with Wolverhampton Wolves matches, ACU and BSPA have to agree of Tai Woffinden' participating in the series. ACU and British Speedway Promoters' Association refused to appearance in a tournament qualifier British star, Scott Nicholls.[6] On July 27, Final One date, Nicholls need ride in British Elite League event. Then ACU does not agree that Hans N. Andersen could be replaced in Swindon Robins match. Andersen informed the club and a league that he will take part in the SEC before signing the contract."

I looked up the prize money for this years European Championship 450 Euros Start 450 Euros a point for qualifying heats 650 Euros a point for the Final Not hard to see why they all want to ride in it, nice comment from Nicki Pedersen who said it was the same money as the Polish Extraleague. Nice stadium, crap track, crap racing.

It would have mattered as I wouldn't have been able to judge how rubbish the racing was, how monotone Nicholls was and how wooden Stekkers is. But hey, there was a positive, The Monster girls 😜😝😜😝😍

Reminds of the worst pairing ever regarding mistakes, Millard and Collins. Give me Smashy and Nicey any day.

Cheap shot from Phil Rising in the Star this week saying only 3000 people turned up for the last round of SEC. In the same issue is a report on the latest GP held in Sweden and there looks a distinct lack of a crowd. Is Rising bitter or just worried about his jaunts abroad coming under threat?
