I seem to remember,that Poole were told to revert back to their original team when a new signing crashed .and they refused and posponed this match as the team they would have had put out against Lakeside would have been So poor it would have " defrauded the fans etc ( and not in the interest of speedway) means, (WOULD HAVE LOST), and that JON COOK, agreed to this(did he?) FORDS words last night saying "it must have been appalling for the public to watch that "WAS A TOTAL REVERSE comment ,but of course this is because it was in POOLES interest so no thought of speedway fans at all , Surely POOLE SHOULD HAVE BEEN DOCKED POINTS, (or made to run the match) as were B.VUE for their Burst pipe story , but no, Nothing happens to Poole unless its for their good, at the time Lakeside were flying and if Jon Cook did agree, it has cost him a playoff place, if it were any other team but Poole last night, the match would not have been allowed to run ,A VERY SAD DAY FOR BRITISH SPEEDWAY.
