After last weeks Poole/Matt Ford ramblings and the threat of more to come this week, I have cancelled my subscription. (The announcement of yet another price increase never helped their cause either).

After last weeks Poole/Matt Ford w**kfest and the threat of more to come this week, I have cancelled my subscription. (The announcement of yet another price increase never helped their cause either). You paint such a lovely picture, I suppose someone knows what you're on about. Fortunately I don't have to worry about the SS as I don't subscribe or try to find a copy elsewhere, even during the season. Doesn't look like I miss anything?

Bring back the Speedway Mail...always was a better magazine in my view! Who buys SS anyway, I just go into WH Smiths and read the bits im interested in there! Surely it would be better to go monthly?

Speedway’s oldest magazine Speedway Star is going digital – 60 years after it was first published. The sport’s top selling weekly magazine is now available online through your web browser, or an iPhone, iPad or any Android device. The magazine provides readers with exclusive interviews and features with speedway’s biggest names and personalities, extensive coverage of the FIM Speedway Grand Prix series and Monster Energy FIM Speedway World Cup and coverage of every track from Armadale to Zielona Gora. With the magazine now online, fans around the world will no longer have to wait for their news to be shipped across the globe. “This is a huge step forward for us,” said managing editor Philip Rising. “It means that speedway fans throughout the world can all read the latest edition at the same time, on a Thursday morning each week, and at the same cost. “Which means our extensive coverage of the FIM Speedway Grand Prix series will reach a much wider audience.” For more details visit: www.exacteditions.com/speedwaystar.
