The ZKS Polonia Stadium in Bydgoszcz hosts its 16th FIM Speedway Grand Prix event in 2014. Bydgoszcz has hosted the Polish FIM Grand Prix 12 times (1998, 1999, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2006, 2008, 2009 and 2010) and the European FIM Grand Prix twice (2000 and 2013). The other Grand Prix it hosted was the "Final" Grand Prix of 2008 making it the only venue to have hosted two FIM Speedway Grand Prix rounds in one season. Of the 15 previous Grand Prixs held at Bydgoszcz, Tomasz Gollob has won seven times (1998, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2007 and 2008 (final). Darcy Ward hopes to be back on a bike for the European SGP at Bydgoszcz on April 26. Ward was briefly knocked unconscious in a horrifying crash with New Zealand SGP winner Martin Smolinski in heat 14 at Auckland’s Western Springs GP on April 5.

6/1 for the king with lads looks a outstanding price to me he loves this track , andreas jonnson (back on his fav track) done me a huge favour winning here the other year got to back him again even tho he's look awful since

Thought I'd lost my money when Ward took the lead. Great Speedway meeting, that's what it's all about.
Read a week or two ago that the Poles were planning to boycott this meeting, looks like they did - crowd was pish poor.

I see the poor crowd is being blamed on the weather, don't buy that at all but have also read the Polish fans were boycotting it. Seems strange to me and I am sure we haven't got to the bottom of it yet.
Turned into an excellent GP after a slow start but Woffinden and Harris need to ditch the lawn mowers
