SpeedwayGP @speedwaygp
.@twoffinden, @greghancock45 & @d_Dublu_racing - world's top 3 in #MonsterEnergySWC action at King's Lynn tonight. Tickets still available.
Looks like a Sky+ job - hopefully we finish 3rd to avoid any embarrassing trips to Poland. The Danes don't include Iversen or Pedersen but our best includes Stead & King yet again - not much of a world cup is it?

It's like saying that someone playing in the Brazil football world cup should be looking to play for Posh! That's not a dig at you, just the quality of the field. It's like Pearson saying about the riders in the EL who are learning their trade. EL for earning, Prem for learning used to be the mantra!

Mark Plummer Media @markplummer81Great to see @dannykingracing shining on the big stage. Opportunity is long overdue and he's taken it #SpeedwayWorldCup #backthebrits
Well done to our lot but that was the easy bit, let's review it after Bydgoszcz shall we? Can't see Stead, King or Harris doing too much damage? monsterenergyswc.com/swc/result

Several players in the footy World Cup playing lower level than POSH. Good result for team GB but what an awful meeting. Why do people go on about KL track? always boring to me - but hey the riders like it so must be good.

Hate the joker with a vengeance and the farce of putting Woodward in heat 17 when everyone knew it was Batchelor was ridiculous.

Indeed there are but when it gets to the QFs, which effectively this is, then I doubt many think of Posh & its London Road building site as a destination? I agree about Kings Lynn, haven't been since "KING'S LYNN 43 PANTHERS 47 - Friday April 06, 2012" and have no desire to return!

The Joker and Tachnical sub ruin the whole event for me. A reserve rider would be much more logical - it would also avoid the farcical situation should a rider have to withdraw from the meeting.

Event 2:Don't forget the early start: 5.45pm the prog starts on Eurosport! Should be a better meeting than the first? Must be honest and say I thought the first match was ok entertainment, whooping Australia and the USA after results over the last few years was the defining factor although as I said before the actual racing could have been better.

Worrying thing is that he'd walk into the Team GB squad ahead of all but Woffinden! Bloody site better than Korneliussen Korneliussen reminded me of Batchelor in the Parken GP. Somehow he had one of those nights when he found something from somewhere but we all knew that it wasn't sustainable as he reverted to type next time out. I suspect that the same will happen to MK in the final although beating Harris, King and Stead is well within his armoury.

Well that's one way of looking at it Rosco just being his positive best. It was good to win at Lynn but the final showing was pretty crap and went much the way everyone expected (apart from Rosco perhaps) Stead and King were cruelly exposed at that level and Harris wasn't much better, let's be fair at the moment we haven't got a hope and until riders accept to improve they have to ride against the best on every opportunity they can we always will be. STEAD, KING and COOK are good examples of our problem, all they want to do is double up and ride in the PL, very little experience of racing on the continent but that's the only way they will improve.

You need talent, application and finance. When someone with the talent comes along, which isn't very often, then it's unlikely that they fulfill the latter two criteria. Therefore it's not surprising that they are happy in their comfort zone and rarely venture abroad. For Aussies, Danes, Swedes (not so much Poles) it's virtually a necessity!
