Just plain Poole again then.
Shame that they never returned to the EoES. Has the sale been done now?

Well, given that Holder carried the Readypower logo but is now not riding for the Dorset mob then I'm sure that's another factor. Also, as British speedway continues its race to the bottom, that seems at odds with the Readypower vision. The AGM, and when it's decisions are made public (even though they've no doubt made their mind up before), also seems to be a tipping point.

Just plain Poole again then. Shame that they never returned to the EoES. Has the sale been done now? Confirmed at the end of season party by Ged Rathbone We have now bought the club to in full form Readypower. Now we own Peterborough Speedway outright, it's time to take the lessons learnt from this 2016 season and capitalise on this for 2017.

Not be seeing toni anymore then.
Think that it's lessons of the last 10 years.
I look forward to the updated club officials page, but as Atwood is still listed as team manager then perhaps not? It could be that too many cooks, which I seem to recall was one of Attwood's issues, is one of the lessons to be learned, hence leaving him listed as a reminder?

Former world No.2 Krzysztof Kasprzak is back at Poole to spearhead their SGB Premiership title quest in 2017.
The Polish racer returns after a loan spell at Coventry on an 11.07 average and will don the No.1 race jacket.
Pirates owner Matt Ford admits having the likes of Chris Holder and Darcy Ward competing to be the club’s top man has often made it tough to include KK in the side.
But Ford is certain a return to Wimborne Road for the first time since 2012 will bring the best out of Kasprzak. He said: "KK has been the unfortunate victim of both his own and the club's success in past seasons, finding himself in direct competition with the likes of Chris Holder and Darcy Ward as an out-and-out No.1.
“But despite his factored average consuming a big chunk of our points, I am really pleased to be able to welcome him back yet again.
"I know for sure that he absolutely revels in riding for Poole as we saw last season when he stepped into the breach for us as a guest against Belle Vue.
“He was absolutely terrific delivering an unbeaten showing and I feel there are plenty of those types of performances still left him in. He has made no secret of the fact that he loves riding for Poole and I am convinced he will revel in the fact that he has the Pirates No.1 on his jacket."

PROMOTER Matt Ford admitted a focus on delivering the new Turbo Twins had proved a key factor in his decision to bring back Brady Kurtz to Pirates.
Ford revealed he had considered Kacper Gomolski for the final team place at Wimborne Road, while former Grand Prix star Troy Batchelor was another option.
However, ultimately Ford chose to stick with reigning Australian champion and club asset Kurtz, who finished on a 6.44 average in the top flight this year but will begin on 7.65 next term based on his 2016 Premier League rating.
While admitting Kurtz had fallen short in the play-off semi-final against Wolverhampton in September – the youngster failed to score in the second leg – Ford felt his long-term view of keeping the 20-year-old and partner in crime Jack Holder together should be retained.
Ford told the Daily Echo: "There were other options around which were just as appealing. It did go through my mind over which way to go with Kacper, or whether to bring someone back to the club who hasn't ridden here for a couple of years.
"I took everything into consideration in the respect of having to employ mechanics and pay for flights et cetera. The logical decision was to keep Brady because he would be based here.
"He sent me an extremely nice message apologising for letting the club down in its hour of need against Wolverhampton and said it would not happen again.
"But for me, he showed enough last year to prove he is more than capable of being a great force in the sport.
"I feel the commitment made to Brady to bring him into the club wasn't just for one season, it was with a view to Jack Holder and Brady leading the club just as Darcy Ward and Chris Holder had done over a long period.
"And that is what I hope those guys will do in the future."
Batchelor struggled at King's Lynn last season but even with his 5.26 average beefed up to 7.36 under new regulations, that figure still appears a bargain.
Ford had first option on the former Swindon man as he was granted access to the retained list of former Peterborough co-owners Rick Frost and Julie Mahoney when they took a step back from the sport.
But although Ford decided against signing Batchelor, he believes the Queenslander will increase his stock having rejoined the Stars for next year.
The Poole chief added: "Batchelor is on an absolute bargain average. As he showed in the Blue Riband, he has clearly got the ability to up his average.
"I think only four or five riders will improve their averages this year but Batchelor has the ability to do so.
"Krzysztof Kasprzak won't achieve 11.07, Hans Andersen won't achieve 10.01 and Jack Holder won't achieve 7.16. Nicolai Klindt will increase his average and I believe Batchelor will be another one who will."
Pirates 2017: Krzysztof Kasprzak 11.07, Hans Andersen 10.01, Brady Kurtz 7.65, Jack Holder 7.16, Kyle Newman 6.31, Nicolai Klindt 5.42, James Shanes 2.00.

I see Poole have kicked Readypower into touch and are looking for a new team sponsor. As I said, I suspect that it was the other way round, but looking at the Poole website, that's as high a profile step back if ever there was one. The recent town centre presence was apparently selling basically outdated merchandise? If that's the case and people want to buy it then good luck to them, but sponsor banners, what's all that about?

I see Poole have kicked Readypower into touch and are looking for a new team sponsor. Very strange. Just checked and Readypower banner is still very prominent on their website and forum (strange considering what happened to ours) - not sure when the deal ends but if you're looking for new sponsors then you're looking for new sponsors and become disengaged from the old?

I see Poole have kicked Readypower into touch and are looking for a new team sponsor. I see that Readypower have finally vacated Dorset: no banners to be seen on website or forum FORD APPRECIATIVE OF READYPOWER (Pooleweb 12th February 2017)Poole Promoter Matt Ford has expressed his sincere appreciation to Rick Frost and Julie Mahoney, former owners of Pirates' sponsors ReadyPower. "Having had Rick and Julie on board for the past few seasons has been a wonderful association for us as a club, but they reached the decision to sell their business and therefore we will be heading into the the new era of British Speedway without their backing. They are wonderful people and were a pleasure to work with but as in all walks of life things do not remain constant for ever. "I was grateful to them for keeping me in the picture of their plans, thus allowing me the opportunity to plan out my business without any false hopes and whilst we have yet to find new headline sponsors for 2017 I am still pursuing options on that front and open to any other offers, so if there are any businesses who might be contemplating a sponsorship arrangement with us then I would be open to discussions."

JUBILANT promoter Matt Ford admitted he was still pinching himself after Poole Pirates had gatecrashed the SGB Premiership play-off picture.
Ford was convinced Pirates had blown their chance of going for an unprecedented eighth top-flight crown after they had lost six matches on the trot between mid-July and early August.
And following a chastening 60-30 defeat by Rye House at Wimborne Road just 25 days ago, he even questioned whether they would win another meeting.
But his riders silenced their critics in style, embarking on a run which saw them rack up six victories in their final seven meetings of the regulation season.
The pièce de résistance came on Friday when they pulled off a dramatic last-heat victory at Somerset to book their place in the play-offs for an eighth year in succession.
Pirates are tonight due to discover who they will meet in the last four when runaway leaders Swindon select either them, Wolverhampton or Belle Vue.
Ford told the Daily Echo: “In my programme notes the week after the Rye House defeat, I said I doubted whether we would win another meeting this year.
“I questioned the riders and asked whether they had the ability to win one more meeting, let alone six out of seven.
“I don’t believe those words changed our fortunes, it was down to their conscience and ability. That’s what pulled us through.
“They knew they had let down everybody and it had been a woeful performance. But, sometimes, these things can be character-building for all of us and I include the fans in that.
“They have voted with their feet because we were losing and it has probably been my worst campaign in terms of crowds since I took over. But I understand that when you are not winning.
“All we can hope is that we have hit form at the right time. Swindon are top of pile and have had an exceptional campaign and Wolves are not far behind them. Whoever we face, it is going to be tough. But there are no silly comments coming out of our camp.
“We will just give it everything and we know we will fare a lot better than we would have a month ago.”
Ford added: “We haven’t done ourselves any favours this year. Did I get things wrong by signing Krzysztof Kasprzak at the start of the year? Unquestionably, I have to put up my hands and say that one was wrong.
“Mistakes have been made and there has certainly been an element of frustration with what myself and everybody connected with the club would have felt was a lack of effort at times.
“I don’t necessarily include the current riders in that because they are all committed and the camaraderie is unique. We are the underdogs and that will make a change.
"Usually, we go into the semi-finals being the team everyone is tipping to win. This time, nobody will give us a chance.”
