Not so sure, have you seen the latest GP news Indeed, but not sure what's it's saying? This is the only relevant bit IMO: "The LOTTO Warsaw SGP of Poland will launch as scheduled, tomorrow at 7pm." 90% of the track is okay apparently but 10% is causing concern, information suggests they worked on it last night and expect a riders practice at 9am today. We will see, could be interesting tonight.

We will see, could be interesting tonight. No news is bad news? They love a temporary track, cutting up and ruts story. Funny after all of these years that these issues still arise. I suppose that given the nature of the track building then it's virtually impossible to avoid such problems, if indeed they are that bad They make a big thing of the making of the track but then make a minor dogs of it. allegedly! FAST FACTS: WARSAW TRACK (SGP Friday 17th April 2015)Ever wondered what it takes to build one of the famous one-off FIM Speedway Grand Prix circuits? Here are 10 fast facts about the LOTTO Warsaw FIM Speedway Grand Prix circuit … 1. Work began on Sunday to swap the Stadion Narodowy football pitch for a speedway circuit, with a geo-textile cover laid on the concrete floor, and the inner kerb and fence put in place before the shale was laid. 2. It took 3,500 tonnes of shale to build this year’s LOTTO Warsaw SGP circuit. 3. The shale is brand new for this meeting, delivered from the same quarry in England where the Cardiff and Stockholm material was sourced. 4. It will take 175 lorries to bring the shale into Stadion Narodowy on the outskirts of Warsaw city centre. 5. The track is 272 metres long – making it six metres shorter than the Millennium Stadium circuit in Cardiff and three metres shorter than the Friends Arena in Stockholm. 6. Warsaw’s circuit has 4.3 percent banking in the corners, which are 14 metres wide, with straights 10 metres wide. 7. There will be no hiding place for the SGP stars on and off the track on Saturday night as the pits are situated inside the stadium. 8. BSI Speedway’s air fence will be in place to protect the SGP riders from any mishaps, with two 120-metre sections on both bends. 9. Once the action is finished, the Stadion Narodowy track has to be removed by Tuesday evening. 10. The Warsaw shale will be stored locally ready to return for the 2016 event.

Well what a farce. Another nail in speedways coffin. How can they call the result after 12 heats. I thought it was only the Showground had electrical problems. They needed our track electrician. BSI need to be called to account over this failed money making debacle. The meeting should have been re-run tomorrow on a proper Polish track.

Pearson bangs on about a growing series which ends in Melbourne, but with the world watching, someone (or some people) cock up big time in the 2015 opener. Unbelievable! Anyone who went should be offered a 50% discount on the ticket price if attending any other 2015 or 2015 GP. Also not sure why Woffinden was such a short price? I think that he had a mechanical advantage in the year that he won the title (as happens occasionally) but I am not convinced that he otherwise stands out from the rest of the field? He looks one paced far too often to be a serious contender, but time will tell!

One's mind harks back to Belle Vue v Poole in 2013 when, in worse conditions, riders and officials somehow came to the opposite decision with riders aquaplaning & hitting the deck for fun, or not for fun in the case of the Belle Vue riders! Heat 01: Ward, Bjerre, Jonasson, Iversen. 2-4...61.81 Line Up: Iversen, R/R - Zetterstrom Bjerre, Ward, Jonasson Comments: Aces on 1&3. Zetterstrom excluded under 2 minutes. Bjerre comes in to replace him. From the gate and very, very messy.Heat 04: Bjerre, Dyer, Zetterstrom, Janowski (Fell). (4-2)...10-14...65.25 Line Up: Zetterstrom, Bjerre, Janowski, Dyer Comments: Janowski gates but goes wide on bend 4 lap 1 allowing Bjerre past just as Dyer passes Zetterstrom. Janowski spins it coming off bend 2 lap 2, falls and pulls onto the centre green. Zetterstrom again shows his contempt for the paying public and just poodles round at the back. (sounds like another farce, that one!) Heat 07: Hancock, Tungate, Dryml, Zetterstrom (Fell). (1-5)...16-26...64.80 Line Up: Zetterstrom, Dryml, Hancock, Tungate Comments: Zetterstrom gates, almost takes Dryml out on bend 2 lap 1 then falls on bend 4.Heat 08 (Re-Run): IVERSEN, Grajczonek, Bjerre. (7-2)...23-28...62.28 Niels-Kristian Iversen takes a Tactical Ride for Belle Vue Line Up: R/R - Iversen, Bjerre, Jonasson, Dyer Grajczonek Comments: Stopped. Jonasson and Bjerre come down on the first bend. Jonasson excluded. Re-Run: From The Gate.speedwayupdates.proboards.com/thread/12801/belle-vue-poole-2013-30pmC'mon lads, you've completed 8 crap races in unacceptable conditions, only put yourself on the line for 2 more races to get the result that God's team from Dorset require, which also finally gets rid of that Mr Frost's Readypower Panthers. They'd walk the league now and we cant have that, would bugger up our long-term vision of the Readypower Pirates!

Well I said it might be interesting but that was the wrong word as shambles is probably more accurate. Personally I have seen many many meetings on tracks worse than that, I also find it hard to believe that they only had one set of starting equipment. I also thought Batchelor was fortunate not to get excluded for having Pedersen off and heat 2 should have been rerun as it must have been clear from the TV replays that the tapes were not going up evenly. No problem with Doyles exclusion, he clearly move before the light went off. But I feel really sorry for supporters, I know loads that went and after the ticket rip off I fear this will end up costing the organisers support in future GP,s especially at Warsaw, they surely must offer some compensation.
