British Speedway achieved a new low this evening. At the last minute it was discovered that Woffinden was ineligible so we had an Australian Rory Schlien as one of our representatives.

British Speedway achieved a new low this evening. At the last minute it was discovered that Woffinden was ineligible so we had an Australian Rory Schlien as one of our representatives. I did read it but only recorded the programme and have yet to watch it. Apart from GPs, I find it hard to get into any broadcast speedway since 2013. It no longer relates to Peterborough Speedway. I might skim through the races this evening and look at the politics of the situation. |

I might skim through the races this evening and look at the politics of the situation. Hardly worth watching, it rained the whole meeting, very little passing other than mistakes on a tricky surface, and with all the aggravation over riders this week I just cannot see the BSPA changing its mind and entering next year. Thats of course assuming it's still planned to stage it. |
