British F1 GP, British Speedway GP & Panthers v Redcar all over one weekend. It's a good job that we're not starting 2pm Sunday. I wouldn't be there.

And the quote of the night after: Heat 06 (Re-Run): Kildemand, Iversen, Cook, Doyle (Excluded). Line Up: Kildemand, Cook, Doyle, Iversen Comments: Stopped. Doyle goes under Kildemand on bend 1 lap 2 and brings him down. Doyle excluded. speedwayupdates/sgp-round-cardiff Was by Jason Doyle when he said something along the lines of Kildemand's fall being a pussy slide off

2 wins out of six as the Readypower man from the Flux wins the Flux GP, how ironic!

Had to laugh at Pearson saying how loud it was in Cardiff and that earplugs were required? He should have been in my lounge, I had to hit the mute button several times to lose his commentary, loud or what! He made Jonathan Pearce seem like a sensible alternative

Differing Facebook views:
"All this negativity about the grand prix, I for one thoroughly enjoyed the meeting and will 100% be going back next year, it's well worth the 500 mile round trip"
"No thanks, been every year since GP moved to Cardiff, but last 2 years have been total rubbish. Last night, 1 good heat (heat 19), crowd getting smaller, atmosphere in the stadium is nothing like it used to be. Don't know what the issue is, but it definitely not the same"
"Why isn't Kildemand in the series full time but Chris Harris is!! Its just a joke really....." (and Harris is going for 2016 as well!!!!!)

(and Harris is going for 2016 as well!!!!!) We went down to Somerset Wednesday had a few days looking around, took in the Pairs on Friday and then travelled up to Cardiff Saturday morning, we enjoyed the GP the crowd looked the same as previous years and the weather was good. The track didn't cut up as much as other years but the inside gates were a bit unfair although it didn't appear to hinder Iversen. Kildemand isn't in the GP because he didn't qualify, Harris did, if Kildemand is good enough he will get enough points from the remaining rounds to get into the top 8 and he could easily do that.

Great weekend as always. Disappointed pairs final anti climax as per last year - but Kurtz out correct decision, my opinion . Stayed in Burnham on sea (should read no sea when tide out). Went for a walk along front, that took all of 3 mins. Cardiff always great occasion, venue and atmosphere. Thought at the time the meeting lacked racing, as you say inside too advantageous. Although appeared better when I watched recording last night. Even if Kilderstand finishes in top 8 don't think he can qualify as he is filling in. In fact I'm not sure he would be crowned world champ if he finished with the most points. Unless things have changed.

Unless things have changed. I am pretty sure it's happened before when someone got hurt and the replacement did really well, in fact it might have been Hans Andersen.

I was also thinking Hans, recall Loram in similar situation - but didn't think they qualified. Could be wrong.
