Well another cracking start for the English clubs. Overhyped and overpaid players without any real club identity, the two Manchester clubs were both losing after taking the lead (subsequently losing) in their opening matches. Premier clubs are soon to be getting much richer to enable them to fill their teams with more foreign mercanaries at the expense of British players. British teams are bang average and in danger of losing a Champions League spot if they disappoint for a second season.

So Chelsea beat a powerhouse Israeli side to make it one out of 4 for the super wealthy but ineffective English clubs. A good start is essential but when your default setting is slow sideways play and primary object not to lose, rather than take it to the opposition with clinical finishing, then it's an uphlll struggle.

Arsene Wenger speaking prior to a meeting of "Its a Square World Society" was confident that despite recent results which he described as no more than a blip and largely due to bad luck and poor officials that Arsenal would win the Premier League ,Champions League and FA Cup.
I thought we played very well in all our recent losses and the belief in this team is tremendous he remarked.

Well it's a marathon & not a sprint as the two Manchester clubs top their respective tables and put themselves one win away from an easier tie in the knockout stages.
Can't see the Arse qualifying though and Chelsea are doing their best to lose consistently.
