Must set my alarm - Heat 13 looks a good one on paper. I'll just Sky+ it, then after Posh & then Arsenal/Everton I'll watch it as per normal. Then again, I might skim through the heats before I leave for the ABAX.

Nice to top up the account.
Great GP considering temporary track. Shame they can't make Cardiff like that. Can't believe so many people stick up for Pedersen, he's a very naughty boy.

It was a Cardiff Mk2 really. If it had more riding on it, it could be the Mk1 and the "Monaco" GP but it had the feeling of a dead rubber at the end of the series without too much at stake. Credit to the riders though (Batchelor apart), they didn't seem to realise that and there was some top class action on a very goods man made track. Thought that a 27,000 crowd was not bad for a first time but looked a bit lost in the 55,000 capacity stadium. Not quite sure how you sell this in future to give it more importance and get more people in. It needs Crump, Sullivan, Adams etc but I'm not sure where the next one of those will come from? Darcy Ward was that person but sadly that isn't going to happen now. I see that Jason Doyle has neck & chest injuries after being knocked unconscious on the 1st bend of the final in a nasty looking tangle. I've never known the medical team to be part of the show. Was a golf buggy really the best medical transportation in Melbourne? Was it really necessary for Doyle to take an open backed ride along the back straight? Interesting to hear the Crumpmeister sticking up for the much maligned Harris, who he said qualified by right through a tough qualifying campaign whereas Kildemand didn't. That's a fair point but suggests that the qualifying system is still flawed? Kildemand is a threat (big threat if he eliminates his inconsistency) whereas Harris might win the odd race here and there these days but that's it. The GP Challenge should be a 4 meeting series over four weekends. That should give a true result?

Now if Pedersen had stuffed Janowski in the fence (if that's one's opinion) instead of Harris then perhaps there would be a discussion to be had? Pedersen is what he is though. He is generally a naughty boy, it's part of his armoury unfortunately and entertaining with it as long as no serious damage is done to men and machines. He dishes it out but takes it as well. I thought that he could have layed it down last night an probably got a rerun and exclusion but he does stick with it these days.

The Harris exclusion was an interesting one as it didnt appear clear cut to me as a neutral. I see Pedersen was at it again this time with Masters but I dont see the need for pit crews to get involved.

As far as I am aware are not Ozzies. It's not coincidence he falls out with so many. The bloke continues to deliberately stuff other riders - win at all cost mentality, even if it means putting a fellow rider in the fence.

Not so sure myself - appeared to me he lifted slightly coming out of bend 4 that took him wider than intended. I am amazed how many stick up for NP on the BSPA forum and may say so - which I assume will lead to a barrage of abuse. Can I really be bothered though!!!

Is Phil Morris a qualified paramedic and how long has he been assisting as part of the medical team along with all his other duties? Doesn't bear thinking about what could have happened to Doyle (or any other rider seriously injured and removed from the track in similar way yesterday) if the guy holding his head still whilst running behind the buggy had tripped over. There must be better ways of performing that task with less risk of causing further damage to the injured rider despite many Aussie posts on Facebook to the contrary.

They don't supply them at Specsavers he would need to go to Nicki Pederson's opticians to have those fitted

If Harris didn't know he was there he needs a trip to Specsavers - he was in front why wouldn't he try and block him Or eyes in the back of his head. I deleted the meeting from Sky+ but just caught the briefest snip on the highlights video. I have to say that I'm prepared to give Harris the benefit of the doubt.
