13th takes on 21st. Posh sit mid table, 6 points short of a play off position so nothing but 3 points is good enough. These are the matches that define your season and with a 3rd of the season gone then the excuses and patience start to wear thin.

Peterborough United manager Graham Westley admitted his side won ‘ugly’ against Fleetwood at the ABAX Stadium today (November 14).

Certainly did. Haven't had the motivation to report on it. We are a better side under Westley and playing better football allegedly. That didn't apply here as the match was as ugly as the weather which didn't particularly help the skill level, although that's no excuse for inadequate defending. Posh deserved to win by virtue of scoring 2 to 1, but against a poor Fleetwood side who had far far too many chances, they can count themselves fortunate to come away with anything from this.
The bottom line is though that it was a win which keeps them in touch with the play off places.

Oh, and not forgetting that your first attacker is your goalkeeper, unless it's Ben Alnwick of course. He's the master of hanging on to the ball, pissing about trying to roll it out 5 yards to a defender, knowing that within a couple of panicky passes he'll probably get it back. By that time of course the opposition have retreated and organised themselves at the other end of the pitch bash
