6th takes on 19th so a good opportunity for Posh to continue their impressive recent form and strengthen their grip on the play off spots.
Weather looking bloody awful but haven't been for a while & will not go again this year; with 3 live Prem matches on Sky/BT Sport and top notch horse racing on Boxing Day, Chesterfield and a Boxing Day crush/hassle isn't very appealing.

Posh 1 Shrewsbury 1 (Washington 56′ - Barnett 79)
Not a bad game despite conditions. Posh were the better side but wasted far too many chances, were not clinical enough and generally wanted one touch too many or chose the wrong option - Shrewsbury got out of jail when Alnwick spilled one with big Tyrone Barnett following up. It was odds on when he came on at 70 mins that he'd silence the boo boys, and he did!
Two points lost but it turned into a good point won as Wigan suffered a home defeat so Posh moved above them into 5th place:
