Another England manager bites the dust at the hands of the press, stupidity, greed etc depending on your point of view. It usually take a tournament, or perhaps two if you're "I don't really know why I'm here" Roy Hodgon, so this was a spectacular fall from grace
Well 67 days doesn't sound too bad compared to Clough's 44 days at Leeds but losing the England job is a bit different.
And here are two people who love the sound of their own voice. Neither would back down at any time ever and this could have been going on tomorrow morning:
GOOD Morning Britain descended into chaos during a live debate on Sam Allardyce on Wednesday – with producers abruptly ending the heated exchange.
As presenters Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid came to blows with ex-footballer Jason Cundy over the England manager’s sensational sacking, background music was unexpectedly played to “drown out” the controversial conversation.

Former Football Association chairman Greg Dyke says the England manager has to be "whiter than white" Cundy did make me laugh though when he said: Good luck with that

Suggest the man Sam mentioned who set it all up and he had known for 30 years is exposed and given as hard time. Sam not innocent but this type of Journalism stinks imo.

It comes with the territory unfortunately and on £3m a year Allardyce should never have got in that position, alleged friend inspired or not. I'm sure there are times when that type of journalism works a treat for us all; it's where you personally draw the line IMO. I'd agree that this is borderline for me also but for others it isn't. Think that he could have got a severe reprimand and told that his external football affairs (meetings) should be run by the FA. That would hopefully remove one risk.

I fully agree it just comes down to greed.
