Despite the quality of the field that they kept waxing lyrical about (2014 was better IMO) I thought that this was a dull opener, not helped by the track and it's preparation.Tai Woffinden @twoffinden - 8 points not bad! 24h NO rain and they prepare a track like that for the best riders in the world to wobble around! Great product. First thought is that the 2017 title will go to one of Doyle, Hancock, Sayfutdinov - with Lindgren as a lively outsider? Will review again after 3 rounds SLOVENIAN SGP SCORES: 1 Martin Vaculik 16, 2 Fredrik Lindgren 16, 3 Patryk Dudek 13, 4 Jason Doyle 12, 5 Emil Sayfutdinov 12, 6 Greg Hancock 11, 7 Matej Zagar 10, 8 Niels-Kristian Iversen 9, 9 Tai Woffinden 8, 10 Piotr Pawlicki 7, 11 Bartosz Zmarzlik 6, 12 Maciej Janowski 6, 13 Chris Holder 6, 14 Nicki Pedersen 3, 15 Antonio Lindback 2, 16 Nick Skorja 1, 17 Matic Ivacic DNR, 18 Denis Stojs DNR. Actual racing was non existent, the yellow gate was utterly hopeless and the new rule caused utter confusion both with the riders, commentators and implementation. I thought the best race was the final, by then the track had pretty much dried out, the only thing of real interest was the rostrum, none of the usual front runners made it.
