Peterborough,
Built around strength in depth, probably unbeaten at home but get some poundings on the road. Hard to predict where they'll finish.BSF
Seems to be the general view of the team's prospects? Should win at home. The management collective representative may have to explain frequently what went wrong on the road. Until they've ridden a few meeting it's difficult to evalute a team without any big hitters, but looking at the other teams, why is Panthers 2017 the team that they wanted? Hopefully it stays injury free to prove why. 2017 CHAMPIONSHIP TEAM LINE-UPS (Up-to-and-including 29/12/2016)click to enlarge images.

Well for my part I think the following
Championship 2017
Berwick A solid and experienced looking top end with some young improvers, they will need Bridger to deliver the goods and Berge and Carr to improve to give them any realistic chance of reaching the play offs but it's an improvement on 2016. Mid Table
Edinburgh A good top end but it looks rather exposed at the other end, Clegg and Riss E will likely improve their starting averages but it's difficult to see much improvement elsewhere, likely to take a few heavy defeats on the road and maybe one or two at home. Mid Table
Glasgow The best heat leader trio in the league but they are taking a chance with the bottom four and clearly expecting Lunna and Bewley to step up to the task but it's a lot of pressure and with a lot of solid built sides they could come unstuck especially if any of the top three have an off night. Top 4.
Ipswich A very solid looking top five with a very weak looking reserves, difficult to see much improvement in the team as a lot of them have been around for a while and their are serious concerns surrounding the fitness of Schlein, if he shines they will do well, if not another average year beckons but they look one of the better sides. Top 4.
Newcastle Excellent top two with improvement to come but the engine room could come up short on occasion, Lindgren and Morris are solid performers but it's going to need major improvement from Rose to turn them into likely play off contenders and the reserves look weak. Possible Spoilers.
Peterborough Panthers have gone for the solid look with a very strong reserve and with good improvement throughout could do very well, several Showground track specialists should see them more than hold their own at home but they will need some away form to be genuine play off contenders. Top 4.
Redcar Another side with a very solid looking top four and headed by Garrity and Barker, the bottom end does look suspect though so they will clearly be relying on the aforementioned to do the bulk of the scoring, it does look better than previous seasons. Mid Table
Scunthorpe Built in a similar way to the Panthers but Douglas aside none have of the top five look to have much if any potential to improve and with weak reserves it looks like another season of struggle for the scorpions. Wooden Spoon Contenders.
Sheffield A good strong looking side with plenty of potential by way of some of the most promising rising stars. Tipped by many as the team to beat it remains to be seen if the tigers will go all the way but they certainly are amongst the front runners. Top 4.
Workington The comets have the best number one in Craig Cook and although he appears to have good back up in Jorgensen and the returning Proctor they appear to have paid the price at the other end with what looks like a woefully weak tail. Wooden Spoon Contenders.
