Early Saturday and not many markets up: is the GP losing its sting? No doubt Cardiff will get the annual 40,000 but the SGP bears little resemblance to British Speedway as it did in its early years. Most of the riders are like strangers (Britain is devoid of top class talent) and the Australian sounding Brit can't even be arsed to ride in the country he represents (although our annually weakened product isn't that appealing to be fair), says it all really!

View AttachmentAlways look forward to the GP's. Give these guys a decent track and they will entertain. A little dabble on Fast Freddie for this one, that's a first. As for British Speedway, the season started promising with many reporting increased crowds. Doubling up, Guests, R/R, delays, self interest and poorly prepared tracks will cause the usual decline in numbers. All very disappointing.
