Well that was my first Posh visit since early 2017 and I didn't see anything to convince me that regular attendace was once again worth consideration. Just the usual lack of quality and ideas on the pitch and no fun travelling, parking up and getting to your seat - all that for a bargain £26+£4 parking  That was after Posh 1 Pompey 2. Sod's law: I go again after 20 months and Posh take 1 point from 6 at home and it's like I've not been away. Never a real goal threat, laboured play going into blind alleys or pack of defenders, goalkeeper still hanging onto the ball for too long and Posh always looking likely to concede when the visitors find their feet. But apart from that, triffic to be back until it turns dark and cold. So that's possibly 2 or 3 as it stands! Well that was last week after Blackpool and I would have gone this week but the accurate crap weather forecast put paid to that, that was a bit of luck! Another shocker at London Road so a good job the rain and cold came early. Looks like Accrington might be it for this season if the weather is reasonable. |
