update May 14
The football club have issued supporters with an update with regards to next season’s season tickets.
Peterborough United would like to take this opportunity to thank supporters who have already purchased season tickets for the 2020-2021 campaign, it is very much appreciated by the co-owners, players, and staff at the football club.
We, like most businesses, are awaiting government updates with regards to the future and recognise that, while there is uncertainty, our fan base is reluctant to plan too far ahead into the future. With that in mind, the club are once again extending the early discount period for season tickets for the 2020-2021 campaign for an extra two weeks.
The deadline therefore for the early discount period has will conclude on Sunday 31st May, at which point we hope to have a. much clearer picture of the plan moving forward. Also a reminder that we have extended the deadline for which your current seat is reserved until 30th June.
We are delighted to report that we have sold over 2,200 season tickets for the 2020-2021 campaign. As a club, we recognise that those numbers are outstanding and everybody, from the co-owners, management, players to the staff behind the scenes, we say a massive thank you.
Season ticket income is always vital to any football club, but given the circumstances that we, and the rest of the EFL find ourselves in with the global pandemic, this year more than ever it has been critical.
Stay Safe.

I'm definitely missing something here?

Considering that season ticket holders didn't get full value last season then why the different reserved seat date and early discount ending? They can keep the date for 1st timers but it should be extended for existing ticket holders so that the dates coincide.

No dates have yet been set for the start of the 2020/21 season, and there are no guarantees that supporters will even be allowed into grounds in the foreseeable future. But Posh have still sold more than 2,500 season tickets for the next campaign already, and the club is keen to thank and repay those loyal fans. “Anyone who has already purchased or purchases before the end of June, a season ticket for the 2020/21 campaign will be entered into a prize draw to win ‘money can’t buy’ prizes,” read the statement. “It has been an unprecedented time, a hugely challenging time and a period that has been extremely frustrating for everyone connected with the football club. “The backing of the fans during this period has been exceptional and if you feel that you are in a position to do so, we would appreciate any waiver or donation that can be opted for. “In return, we will recognise that generosity in a unique way at the new stadium and as a further gesture, we will allow 2020/21 season ticket holders to bring a friend two times during next season free of charge (when safe to do so). “To sell 2,500 season tickets for the next campaign is nothing short of phenomenal and indicative of our loyal fan base. “If you are able to purchase a 2020/21 season ticket to support your club, more information can be found www.theposh.com/tickets/season-tickets-2021/. “We have extended the deadline for the Super Saver period until the end of July and any existing season ticket holder seats will be reserved until the same date. “We look forward to seeing you back at the Weston Homes Stadium when we are given the green light to play football again. “The club are now operating with minimal staff so please be mindful of response times when communicating with the club during this period.” ET 18/6/20

They must have been listening - certainly quicker action than speedway!
Super Saver & existing seat holder reservation extended. The football club are listening to the advice of the government and the authorities and with the continued uncertainty moving forward, we are extending the Super Saver period for season tickets for the 2020-2021 Sky Bet League One campaign until the end of August with current season ticket holder seats reserved until that point.
We have been overwhelmed by the support of the fanbase throughout the summer with nearly 3,000 season tickets already sold. All season ticket holders will be issued passes to watch games online that are behind closed doors and we’re hopeful that will include matches that Peterborough United play away from the Weston Homes Stadium. More details on these passes will be available soon when discussions within the EFL are concluded.
Given the extremely fluid nature of advice we continue to receive, an announcement regarding flexi tickets and match tickets for the 20/21 season will be made in due course.
As we are sure you are aware, this is an unprecedented time and things are changing on a daily basis. We will endeavour to keep everybody updated as much as possible during this time and thank you all for your patience.
Posh
