First speedway I've watched all year. Was a cracking free feed (good quality and camera work/angles), albeit with a Russia (I think) commentary:



- Nasty crash for Adam Ellis who locked up mid turn with KK coming behind at pace and hitting his rear wheel. Ellis straightened and had to bail out but missed the short air fence and smashed back first into the fence, taking out one of the panels which shows the force.

Not the way I was hoping tonight would go. Tough start, then starting going a bit better and desperately wanted to finish off with a win, but had a kiss with the fence instead. - click to view.

Had some scans and it turns out I’ve fractured 3 vertebra, but I’m feeling pretty good.

not surprised - lucky boy when you think that Darcy Ward crashed in similar circumstances with short air fence?

To be fair we have watched a few Polish league matches when on free view and have started watching the Swedish league now that has started, some of the racing isn’t up to much but it’s speedway,

GP’s start Friday and with 8 in the next four weeks it will be interesting if this style of two matches in successive days catches on for the future.

GP’s start Friday and with 8 in the next four weeks it will be interesting if this style of two matches in successive days catches on for the future.

Despite the drought, Polish speedway and Swedish speedway has never been interesting IMO so I've made no effort to watch it. I've also cancelled BT sport so as it stands at the moment I have no desire watch the GPs. Speedway is pretty much out of sight out of mind in 2020 and I'm very much in the no fans or reduced fans with restrictions, no point camp. Harsh but I'm sure plenty feel differently.

Very much in your camp. Haven’t watched any of the Polish or Swedish Speedway and also cancelled BT Sport. Only had BT for the Speedway, although quite enjoyed the Europa and Champions League weeks one off match format, played over a few weeks. Just can’t see the value paying to be stuck in a contract for only 6 GPs played over 3 weekends. BT was supposed to finish Sunday but still on at the moment. Probably go off just before heat 1 Friday.
