A true story!!!
When I was about 19 worked for an insurance company doing motor renewals. Each client had a record card with all their details and if you had a phone call or somebody coming into the office if you were totally stuffed if you could not find their record card.
At renewal time they often went missing due to claims etc often they were in the custody of a formidable lady Miss Roberts who was in charge of motor renewals( she had been transferred to the sticks as she and another woman had come to blows over an affair they were both having with the assistant manager of the motor department)
One day she roared down the office "Woolsey have you been down my drawers." As a 19 year old pretended not hear whilst rest of office collapsed in fits of uncontrollable mirth.

Peterborough MP Paul Bristow was asked to leave the House of Commons on Wednesday afternoon (24/5/2023) for disruptive behaviour. During a back and forth about the subject of immigration, Commons Speaker Sir Lindsay Hoyle interrupted opposition leader Keir Starmer to ask Mr Bristow to leave the house. In response to the incident, Mr Bristow said: “A bit of noise is expected at PMQs. I'm not shy of making myself heard, but today I just got a bit excited.
