Every SGB Premiership club must select at least one rising star graded four or below, meaning they can choose anyone available from the list, with the rest of the team built to a 35.5 combined average for six riders
SGB Championship sides are required to track one rising star graded two or below, if they sign their remaining six riders to a 39-point limit, or they can track a grade-three rising star if the rest of the team is built to a lower ceiling of 38 points.
Championship newcomers Poole have taken the grade-three route and recruited Danyon Hume as their rising star.
British Speedway chairman Rob Godfrey said: “We have been pleased with the reaction to the introduction of the scheme.
“We said at the time it was important for British youngsters to have a vision for the future. A lot of work has already gone in on the project and invites have been sent out to all the riders on the list.”
