There's no news, I just noticed that Kings Lynn is running in the 4.20 at Haydock today and has more chance of winning anything in 2021 compared to our 6 fingered cousins from down the A47:
oddschecker Verdict
EL ASTRONAUTE made all to see off Tarboosh (second) in this last year and looks set for another bold bid following a winning reappearance at Chester. King's Lynn was keeping on well for second on that occasion and has to be taken seriously, with soft ground a positive. Moss Gill is respected in first-time cheekpieces, while Aljady appears the pick of Robert Cowell's trio.
Prediction: 1st El Astronaute, 2nd Kings Lynn, 3rd Moss Gill
VERDICT (RTV)
John Quinn's most likeable EL ASTRONAUTE returned in style with victory at Chester earlier in the month and is fancied to repeat last year's win in this event (albeit at a different track) and hold off King's Lynn once more. Andrew Balding's 4-y-o has fewer miles on the clock so rates a big threat with more to come. Moss Gill and Aljady are both worth a second look also.
Kings Lynn is current favourite for the race (at 10.23am)
Bet responsibly! When the fun stops stop and all that crap. But basically remember you never see a bookie on a bike, or more appropriately these days, the CEO of a betting firm who isn't on a huge 6 figure salary at the very least. If you can't afford to lose it then you can't afford to bet.

Currently 4/1 favourite in the 22 runner 5pm Wokingham on soft (some heavy) ground. Too much of a lottery for me. Dave Nevison tips it, and RTV Comment: Progressive sprinter who won 5f Haydock listed in May. Met trouble and better than result when seventh in Group 1 King's Stand earlier in week. Officially 7 lb well-in under his penalty. Bet responsibly kids, which basically means don't bet!

I like to make it much simpler, “ bet what you can afford to lose, or not at all”.

Had a £1 e/w today, think that the horse is still running. Any loss isn't fun in my book but £2 out of £34 is insignificant, especially as 2/3rds of it is their money anyway. That was me done for the day. Kings Lynn not far off. Ran a good race in the Royal colours for the Queen:

I was quite up on my GP bets and realised after several months that I was not having my small bet. So actually transferred the winnings back to my bank. Just left a few quid to play with. I doubt many do that.

I agree that too many punters are stuck with "seaside slot machine mentality" whereby whatever comes out goes back in. Not trying to chase/recoup losses is also a big failing of your mug punter.

That’s sensible logic. Also the seaside slot machines are a great comparison - even when you get a big drop, it’s eventually all going back in and all you walk away with is dirty hands

King's Lynn Speedway@KLSpeedway 9/9/21· ANNOUNCEMENT - link to tweetAt tonight’s meeting we will be making a positive announcement regarding the 2022 season. I guess that the fact that they are running is the big announcement? KING’S Lynn have made an early start to team-building for 2022 with Richard Lawson and Thomas Jorgensen both signed up for next season.
source BSPA website. Not sure how you can sign riders without knowing the rules? I guess they've already agreed at going with basically the same as 2021, with potentially a bit of tinkering that doesn't affect the bigger picture.

Well the Queen's horses have been running well all year which is good considering the bloody awful year that she's had. Kings Lynn the horse has been more successful than Kings Lynn the speedway team and it's out again today although I'd be looking elsewhere as it's perhaps gone over the top now? But I can't pick my nose at the moment so wouldn't rely on my judgement:
Newbury 2.15
The Dubai International Airport World Trophy Stakes is a Group 3 contest run over the minimum trip and has attracted a strong field of eight with only 9lb officially covering the whole field. Khaadem appeared to relish dropping back to this trip when winning at Doncaster 10 days ago and has to be on anyone’s short list. Charlie Hill’s five year old had become a tad disappointing but maybe the trip will give him a chance to fulfil his potential finally. Tis Marvellous produced his best ever effort when winning the Beverley Bullet last time and yet another that looks sure to be involved in the finish. Kings Lynn was a bit flat last time and is overlooked for that reason alone whilst Hurricane Ivor comes here on the back of a late finishing victory in the Portland Handicap last Saturday and cannot be ruled out either. A tough call but slight preference is for Khaadem who has speed to burn.
KHAADEM 2 points win @ 10/3 Bet365
